pause: a temporary stop or rest. windbag: a person who talks at length but says little of any value. bluster: talk in a loud, aggressive, or indignant way with little effect. moribund: in terminal decline; lacking vitality or vigour.

Has anyone watched the interview. It's two parts an hour in total.

I started watching it, but I was losing the will to live so I had to turn it off.

I wasn't even brave enough to start. I may take one for the team though.

I have. The interviewer allows Parry to fail to answer direct questions, some of which were near to the bone. For instance he is directly challenged on the loss of moorings on the Lea but accepts a waffle answer that says nothing. ETA However Parry chose his words most carefully when responding to questions regarding the contents of compost toilets being disposed of in general waste.

Having met him personally in a few occasions, I can say he is definitely a politician.

I started watching it, but I was losing the will to live so I had to turn it off. In other words you're too thick to have grasped the significance of some of what he inadvertently let slip due to not having been able to prepare the answers lies prior to the interview.

I really can't be arsed to watch it ... I'd be utterly amazed if he didn't have sight of the questions prior, or at least the 'ball park' area of same. The ex BBC chap is a jolly pleasant guy and makes some interesting films, but he's hardly likely to challenge Paxman or Snow in the questioning. I think Mr Parry is a smooth operator with his particular area of expertise being in public relations. If anyone sees anything worth watching, please let me know but I'm not expecting such a message Rog

He says the only time he may have seen the questions was on his previous post where he asked his viewers for questions.

And you wouldn't have needed a magic ball to anticipate what was on the agenda.
