June is my birthday month. Yesterday I became aware that my lovely children have brought me tickets to see Mr Springsteen, the best live performer there has ever been. This news was delivered to me as I was cooking a chicken. After receiving this news Ali and me drank lots of whisky and gin, which lead to lots of singing and dancing. The chicken leftovers, were wrapped in foil, but then we forgot to put this in the fridge. I have awoken with a headache and canβt decide whether putting the chicken in the fridge now will make it ok to eat at a later date? Help!

The Boss.
Nice one. Not been to any of his work but I did hear he is rather good.
As for the chicken I would have thought after just one night and not a hot August night it would be okay but if you die of food poisoning don't come running to me to complain.

If it smells like fish and tastes like chicken...
Oh no, hang on, I'm getting confused here.

It may be alright ... then again, chicken can be dodgy. And at your age you need to be very careful Rog

Anyway, chickens been chucked, thanks everyone for the advice... Going to walk to a place just down river that does Jamaican food. Goat curry is good for hangovers Iβve heard.

Bacteria in food doubles every 20 mins at room temperature. It will be covered, in therapy they would die if re heated to 85Β° bit I wouldn't bother.

Very busy in the garden, thank you dogless. Rarely pop in at the moment, to many problems in real life to worry about. The garden is coming along, we had three last bits of rough patches, wild flowers went in one, a rockery and small shed went in the other and the last has a wildlife pond with waterfalls. A little bit more to do and it's done.
