"I never believed Boris would stop the migrants. He absolutely loves uncontrolled mass immigration. The more the merrier as far as he's concerned."
"During ‘Lockdown’ we were allowed to go to our local beach area, but only if you walk there run or cycle. However, being disabled those things are not an option. So we drove to our local area and sat in the car, looking out to sea, we were not putting anyone at risk! It wasn’t long before Messers Plods arrived and told us to go home! Although people arrive in this country by the hundreds with no papers, yet to go on a cruise we need a “vaccination” pass and be fully “vaccinated”. We are not and never going to be. So we are discriminated against and I thought discrimination was against the law!"

Laura Trot just resigned, Attorney General resigned last night, a horde of rats deserting the good ship Boris. Nadine Zahawi struggling on R4 now. Where did I put that Schadenfreude emoji?

The problem I’d see, were I a Labour man, will come after Boris goes. New man in as PM, he can blame Boris for most of the mistakes and your stuck with the Tory party for the next decade.

Tricky Sunak says the public expect "government to be conducted properly, competently and seriously". Seeing that all 3 of those qualities have been lacking since the Tories have been in power, why is he only now resigning? Savage Jabber regrets that he can no longer continue in good conscience. His conscience hasn't bothered him for the last 18 months or so! Rats.
when the fuxx repeats the news and comments on it, just in case we missed it, it reminds me how difficult it was to understand all aspects of current affairs during his absence.
with his inspired comments and deep background analysis, I'm sure he would win a vote of confidence if it ever came to that.

Under the present rules he'll have to fall on his sword. Not sure he'll do that. When asked apparently he said fuck that

I know, fun to watch the squabbling, scratching, biting and hair pulling though. Sajeed and Rishi obviously have their eye on the Captain's hat. Very interesting program the other evening about the kiddy fiddling teachers at Ashdown, the school Boris attended, told by ex pupils, it was rife with a code of omerta against snitching. Could this be why Boris ignored Pincher's assaults on others, he learned to turn a blind eye at school.

At least he's commenting on the real world, not his covid fantasy he inhabits. It's preferable Shirley.

Ashdown is just up the road from the nonce school I went to briefly.
The one I attended had a rather famous former pupil who was called Winston Churchill.
Stoke Brunswick.
Load of shitty public schools around there. My step sisters and brothers went to Ardingly. I can't believe how much money people spend just to get their children indoctrinated as true long term twats.
Sad really. State schools for my kids any day thanks !

I know this is just in the general argy bargy of politics here but in all honesty, knowing there have been rumours against someone is a good a reason to keep a close eye on them but unless some actual evidence is produced or an actual direct accusation made it would be very wrong to allow that to effect your dealings with that person.
It is often too easy for baseless allegations to be rumoured against someone, damaging their career and life.
Often causing permanent damage in past cases, if precipitous action was taken by authorities
This is in no way saying that where there is evidence, it should be ignored. It is a fine line that is way too easy for people to blame using hindsight

Boris claimed he knew nothing at all though, that is what has led to the current debacle. It was all explained in detail to him. Then he says he "forgot". Pincher had a reputation, justifiably so.

13 resigned ... surely not even HE can ride this out.
Looks like a leadership battle before the end of summer but I suspect the damage already done to what little credibility they have will create a massive backlash come the next election.
Liberal government anyone ?
Rog
