I don’t know John I think I would of fancied an apprenticeship like that. I agree about the knock, the frame looks very rusty as well. Isn't quaysider offering such an apprenticeship, Gargrave to Wigan Top two days, all you can eat and plenty of grog. I can just hear your reply 😂... "I'll be buggered if I'll go and work on that boat" I’ll leave this to you Jim.

This is probably the coolest small speedboat ever made. I remember the ads for these when I was a teenager and really wanting one. The Picuda. Lovely. Bit pricey though. about 8ft6 long... 30 hp Mercury 2 stroke. Nice to see it slightly over rated like that as it's plated for a 25. I bet that goes well. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Picuda-speed-boat-/184357309288

That's a fair comment it seems to be missing it's Recaro seat. Perhaps the bloke has it in his house to protect it from the weather.

Its beautiful and perfect for down here. I would have it in an instant if C hadn't banned me from owning a sailing boat after the previous two

This 68ft British built historic tug was first commissioned in 1948. She is listed with the national historic ships register, She helped in the construction of canary wharf and the London eye and many more. She towed freight in and out of London. She was all so featured in the last of the Waterman a tv series. In the 90s. This tug helped build London as you see it today. As historic tugs go Revenge is it. Powered by a lister Blackstone that puts out 535hp. , she all so has15kva. Yanmar generator, A full survey was done in February 2020. ,90% of works completed to recode for work, she has a 18ft beam with a 2.5mtr draught, she has a 8ton bollard pull full working towing hook and much much more . She is all most there. Just a bit of panting is needed. The Current owners have lovingly looked after her. She is currently based in Sandwich Kent. It would be fantastic to see her go back to work or even settle in to easy retirement as a charter Fishing boat. Or a very spacious live aboard. This is a lot of boat for just £26.000 ono. Please feel free to contact Murray & sons Yacht sales. Or call 07724908240. A mooring is available in needed. Viewings are most welcome

Lovely and very capable boat. Looks a bit similar to the GPS Anglia which I believe is the boat which caused you problems at Blackfriars GPS Anglia picture from vesseltracker.com website. ETA I like the disclaimer notice. But would this actually stand up in court if the boat occasioned an injury ?

Looks a bit similar to the GPS Anglia which I believe is the boat which caused you (MrStabby) problems at Blackfriars It was NOT, however, the outbound tug and it's tow that was the primary cause of the incident from which MrStabby was fortunate to escape unscathed. That was entirely down to the abject failure on the part of the C&RT lock staff at Limehouse to ensure that inexperienced skippers and crews in charge of pleasure craft penning into the Thames were aware or were made aware of exactly what they could be faced with in the area of the works around Blackfriars Bridge, or to instruct them on how to cope safely with being forced to take the same bridge arch/span that outbound commercials would be using. It was also apparent at the time that the irresponsible goons in charge of the old dock entrance lock at Limehouse had failed to inform Woolwich VTS of inbound pleasure craft leaving Limehouse, and, in the absence of VHF on those pleasure craft, also failed to ensure that the pleasure craft were contacting the VTS themselves via the mobile phone number the PLA provide for use in those very circumstances.
