Bit. Too small for me. I need a boat thatβs big enough to live on.

A pretty little early GRP motorsailer www.ebay.co.uk/itm/133939421239Probably ready for the bin but a shame as it's really sweet ! ETA does not seem to have rigging with it. Could make a nice floating electric beer drinking bedroom out of that ! With diesel backup if that little engine is working. Big pile of lithium batteries from James (who I met a couple of days ago) and a pod motor then a solar panel Bimini job done ! Must not buy ! I really do like the shape of that thing. Very traditional and pleasant looking boat. Could be brilliant for a solar navigator. ETA listing says no engine with it so they must be weighing it in. Which helps somewhat with the electric conversion.

Agree Andrew, a nice little hull .... it seems like it's the mast itself missing and I would have thought you could pick up a second hand one fairly easily. Dinky little engine (poss electric as you said) wouldn't need much to push it along. Would make a nice little day boat for not a lot of money.
It's a shame, so many of these little boats get broken up or dumped. As a teenager I would have given my eye teeth for something like that to bugger around the creeks in. There just doesn't seem to be the same level of interest in it nowadays.

I think it would be ok to not have a sticky up thing with a flappy piece of canvas tied to it.
It'd be fine as a motorboat. Do a raised shelter over the cockpit with a 415w solar panel or similar that would probably enough on a good day to dawdle around with it.

This looks pretty wicked. Lovely base for a powerful electric inboard to get it going FAST. 8FT4 and only 30kg? Must be a very light layup. Interesting little craft. Fortunately I am severely allergic to facebook so unable to message the seller. Β£150. Not a massive bargain but it's got a deep vee hull so would definitely be a good unit for the high speed emergency beer acquisition protocol dash which sometimes pops up on the agenda. room in the boot for Lithium battery bank, brushless inboard and beer rations. What's not to like ? The hull looks pretty sweet for planing 30kg? Really? Must be very thin !!

Ah. I guess this is a mould not a boat. That would explain the light weight and the unsatisfactory transom. Also the flange around the edge. Final boat laid up in two halves separated off the mould then bolted or bonded together afterwards with a trim of some sort.
30kg is too light.

One for JohnV? Romany 31 with twin Perkins 6 turbos. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/165177783773I have often considered the beneficial possibilities of a Romany 21 but I didn't realise they did a 31 with twin inboards on shafts. How nice! It's even got 4 leaf clovers as a lucky charm. I bet that goes well.

I don't know what this means but I could see it being a (re)moveable part so yes it should be quite easy to make it shallower. Another interesting thing is that it claims 1962 as a build year. This seems to be a grp boat which could get into Henley trad boat rally if/when/never the committee get it into their thick wooden sculls that fibreglass is now a historic boat building material!

Unusual item for the UK. Ambhibious high speed inflatable with hydraulically deployable wheels. Years ago I towed one of these with my dinghy with honda 2 on it because their fabulous Evinrude outboard threw a wobbly about the duckweed in the canal. They seemed surprised the little dink was up to it but was no problem. Interesting bit of hardware for someone with enough cash. I think it could be the same one as engine is the same. Not a lot of these about. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/144292097969"Sealegs" 13 years old Β£40k...
