Why would people feel the need to hide what they write ? I don't get it.
The fox covid issue could easily have been sorted
The 'Covid issue' could have been sorted by people telling the Government, SAGE, Pfizer, AstraZeneca and the NHS to piss off. Instead they bared their arms to get injected with... well, they're not telling you, are they?

BUT - wasn't that the whole point of an "unmoderated forum"?
Now we have a 'lunatic asylum' and a 'facist' forum.................
'Fascist' Let them all stew in their TUB of hatred towards 'The Unvaccinated'.

It's not an 'option' if it 'makes' them do it, is it? And, surely, if you have the capability of logging in that makes you a member, does it not? Talk about parallel universes! Did you forget to say something, or are you making point? Do you realise Ross jumped in on my reply to someone else.

Yes I get that but why are they not viewable by others? Surely if you are just viewing a load of text on a computer of phone screen you can't cause any harm to the forum or group.
Or maybe you can. I must admit I always assumed that being logged out meant that you can not interact with the site.
But TB asylumers will pull anything they see to shreads. That would be most disagreeable... shreds dear oh dear

It is like any other private members club - people want to be with people who are like themselves. People don't want to hear others disagree - that is disagreeable... You can only disagree with views within our strict/not so strict rules.
Nothing changes, but the more people hide from different views the more divided people become. In my opinion.
Some rules are needed though. The fox covid issue could easily have been sorted by restricting him to say 10 posts per day - still would have allowed foxy to post but not take over the forum. Current stuff could be dealt with by some sort of similar moderation - far too late now though.
plenty of arguments. Interesting that you think an unmoderated forum needs rules.

It is nothing to do with paranoia but the way the world has become. There are an awful lot of sad, bad predators watching. Yeah, back to the Good Olde Days of gladiators and Christians being thrown to the lions. And Vlad the Impaler doing.... well... impaling, I suppose.

The only "safe" group consists of one person. What about someone with schizophrenia?

Do you actually bother reading anyone else's posts, Ross?

I will ask myself and I and get back to you.
ETA of course this should have been "I will ask me and myself".

Do you actually bother reading anyone else's posts, Ross? You are joking aren’t you? Yes, as I said to Mr Stabby just the other day - I'm far too gullible!

My view is call it the TUB Club but don't pretend it is a forum (moderated or otherwise). It is a forum for club members only I'll agree with.
I've said my bit - good luck to the club.
