It could be 'seeing as everybody else...' or possibly better with 'since everybody else...'.
I have hurt your feelings. My apologies.

It could be 'seeing as everybody else...' or possibly better with 'since everybody else...'. I have hurt your feelings. My apologies. It’s okay. I just think English is a more fluid thing than you where taught in school. This is a point of view born both from being dyslexic and traveling the world and experiencing some of the millions of versions of English that get put to use everyday. Also it’s really boring being told the “correct,” way to express myself all the time. I’ve already had a lifetime of that. It’s so bloody Victorian. I know it was beat into you through your schooling.

I just (correctly) believe there are two forms of written and spoken English; correct and bad (although pidgen may get an honourable mention). But if you want to meet some real pedants, head for Austria.

But English is like a stretchy flexing living organism that can be made to fit any expression/communication need. If you like it or not this is the reality of the world at the moment. (Chinese in some form might take over.) In some ways this is part of this countries karma for taking over a third of the worlds land mass or what ever it was. To me it’s the beauty of English this adaptability and it’s saving grace.

Written English has been so bastardised over the centuries that it has rather lost the point of written language, which is to make an understandable record of spoken language for future reference. A purer example of written language would be Russian where, upon seeing a written word you know exactly how that word is pronounced. There's none of this "nine pronounciations of -ough" or "Gillingham in Kent and Gillingham in Dorset" bollocks.

Are you sure it was the SAS you where in and not the KGB? Sent to spike the water supply with LSD?

Are you talking to yourself Kris? You’ve been uncovered. You’ll have to return to Moscow.
