Great news!
Where has the publicity been for the last few weeks? Surely if people (especially those really struggling) had been aware of this the bus companies would have seen increased revenue?
I'm really taking advantage of it whilst cruising through a rural area. Would normally move for supplies but £4 into the nearest town and back instead of £9.80? Saves a bit of diesel and having to moor up with the overstayers.

Yes... The Fossilised Ones get free travel by local buses. Someone I know was wondering if they could get from Dorset all the way up to Durham by local buses for free, and indeed it is possible, although there'd be a need for overnight accommodation. Along the west side, eg. Chester-Liverpool, or the east side via eg. Lincoln.

Not sure about Scotlandland or walesland though. Top deck, front seats, what better way to see the countryside. Are you eligible as a migrant, to any benefits and perks in Finland, on top of being able to travel throughout the Schengen Area with no let or hindrance. I see we'll have to cough up a £10 or so come autumn, to visit the EU. An "adult" will be along shortly to justify it as a brexit benefit.

After 15 years of total wage stagnation, within 12 months of leaving the eu my salary had increased from £25,000 p.a. to £32,500 p.a. I think I can afford a tenner out of that.

Any charge would not be made to those arriving in rubber boats. They would still get new warm clothes and a room in a 4* hotel.
