NBTA seem organised. I wonder if they want to do anything. They are already doing things.

Kris, you should get in touch with a man called Tony who has experience in challenging CRT in court. Wouldn't it be better to get a legal eagle who won and kept his boat? Maybe kris could organise a seonce.

I think it’s going to be a sad day when the only people who live on boats are the wealthy and those entitled to benefits.

I’ll swap you for your smaller boat? Sorry I don't want the space. Exactly. Anyway I think the discount for historic boats should be 50% Maybe even 80%.

Historic boats is an interesting subject.
I don't really think the CRT are that interested in this side of the heritage. They may even argue that there are too many and some are in a parlous state.
For example the geyser on the K&A seems to have an ancient wooden narrow boat which should have been broken up yars ago but instead became a problem.
There are other similar problems around.
Maybe historics are not as important as some people think they are.

Maybe historics are not as important as some people think they are. Important to who? No boat is important to crt management, not even the work boats. Important in respect of preserving the heritage, then I would say they are very important. In archeology context is everything. So having the waterways “ preserved.” But not the boats would be disastrous in terms of preserving heritage. But crt are already doing everything they can to destroy context by getting rid of all the related infrastructure. I spoke to the head of heritage preservation at crt. I asked them who has the final say in what's preserved. Their answer was the head of the finance dept, very telling.

Oh yes and the questions at the end about income etc are just data mining.

Does anybody know if “G” has a boat, or are they just a wannabe?
