I like a tragic song of a pleasant evening to go with a glass of wine at times.
It shatters some illusions and puts the world to rights.
Slayer obviously better but limited room for manoeuvre.
It goes very well with
Such a beautiful combination.

Hamlet is an historic fiction. No one really died. Rog Lots of nursery rhymes are about events where people died or were injured. "Ring-a-ring-a-roses" (Great Plague) "Oranges and Lemons" (Money lending and the debtor's execution) "Three Blind Mice" and "Mary, Mary, quite contrary" (Queen Mary's persecution and execution of priests) "Lucy Locket" (A fight between two prostitutes)

Not for the first time I see I'm wrong ... out of step with the majority.
It does open up possibilities for future song and dance shows.
Fred & Rose in Happy Families
The Hindenberg ... Great Balls of Fire
Aberfan the Disaster ... lots of scope for kiddie choirs in that.
Maybe not ... I'll accept I'm out of step and wrong and be happy with it.

Hope you can start to enjoy and maybe have a dance to some Sea Shantys (often based on real life events).

You seem to miss the point of difference between a song and a show ... one lasts two to three minutes the other is two to three hours.

Whatever. Tragedies happen and people mark them in different ways. Nothing is is right or wrong in this instance.

Not exactly an example of a traditional sea shanty though is it?

Maybe the 2nd example meets your requirements better.
