Wow - I was only saying what I'd been told!! Sorry if my response seemed curt, it wasn't my intention. Rog Joke!! We do that here.... Seriously, I really was told that contravened the old BW T&Cs so used to skulk about with a carrier bag if headed to a local bin, ready to argue it was better there than strewn across the towpath - but no-one (even bin collectors) have ever questioned me.....

Using local bins is known to wind up the locals something shocking. They really get pissed orf in a very real way. I personally think it is wise to keep locals on side but I suppose when one is traveling about it is less important.

I don't disagree ... and to that end I use bins in town, not the nearest canalside. A small bag of rubbish in different bins is causing no one a problem. Better than the strewn KFC and McD's rubbish scattered about as metanoia says 👍 Rog
