. Stupid idiotic reasoning. It is highly unsurprising that you failed to keep what could have been a useful organisation together. All you want is an empty room with no opposing views. How boring. Yes, again. He’s just being stupid as usual. Here we go again. Basic inability to handle other people's views significantly detracts from any shred of credibility you may think you have.

After reading here, CWDF and various facebook discussions the announcement has had the desired effect of dividing and conquering.

All you provide is fiction. do you have any constructive comments about how the upcoming separation of cc licences from home mooring licences might be administered. Neither you or I have any influence in policy making but it is still interesting to discuss it. Do you think this can work ? If you just resort to abuse or offence or attempts to reduce the credibility of others then you will just be undermining own position. Put forward a counter argument !

All this crap from nick and the idiots on cwdf about paying extra is tosh. They are paying for a service they choose to use. Their service provider has to pay crt a service charge in order to use crt water, simple as that.
CRT chose to piss about with a new charging system, because they know a straightforward 25% increase on the licence fee across the board would most likely see a collective effort looking to slow the process down.
By being divisive with their plans, they knew they would get at least some support from the narrow minded narrow boat owners who spend a good chunk of their time in a marina. Presto! It worked, just as it always does. However, CRT will still need more money, and that will eventually be loaded onto the narrow minded narrow boat owners with a levy of 20% on connection charges. The service provider will of course have to pass this on to the customer. So, I say bye bye to the silly fucks who thought they would get away with increases by loading it on to others, you're next 😂

CRT should have just increased the licence fee by 50% over a period of two years.

My feeling is that the CC 'surcharge' will be equivalent to around an 'average price' mooring (lets say £1200 - £1500) so that will be well in excess of 100% increase. Fat boats will see at least another 100% rise (they have already had a 25% surcharge introduced over the last 2 or 3 years) A Fat-CCer will be hit very hard probably around 2.5x the existing licence fee, We will soon be getting the actual figures announced.. Example of the tosh posted elswhere!🙄

CRT are holding back on the figures because they don't yet know what those figures will be themselves. It's all very dependent on the inflation rate as to what % CRT will add. They can't leave the decision too long, hence a November update.

Fact. I have not particularly delved into whether this is fair or not, and as you say it’s choice. I have simply stated the fact and pointed out the lie which is that CCers and marina dwellers pay the same. They do not.

No. You pay a service charge to have something that someone else does not, that is the only reason you pay more. Stop bullshitting ffs, you're just making yourself look stupid. If i go to tescos, buy a cheap loaf of bread, and you buy a more expensive one, that's your choice.

Nevertheless, as I also said repeatedly, that choice results in typical boaters with marina moorings paying around 25% more to CRT than the same boat would pay as a CCer. Doesn’t seem a difficult fact to grasp. You would have thought.

Whenever you lose an argument - which is quite often of course - your only last dying gasp is to issue a stream of insults. And even funnier, you think we don’t notice!😁😁😁
