I sometimes think retiring to the country estate permanently might be an idea.
I could be a game keeper.
I feel that the pressure on waterways is all part of a bigger picture. Gradual societal breakdown, overpopulation and facebook.
Its going to get worse before it gets better and its probably not going to get better.

The issue is that the NBTA are going to eventually get living on boats banned or made a lot more awkward by being too loud about it.
Some people are perfectly happy with the current arrangements and like a quiet life but these people will be fucked up by people with too much attitude.
I suppose it doesn't really matter.
I don't understand why the NBTA moan. Living on a boat and cruising around the canals is not arduous and subject to remarkably little regulation.
They seem to just want more regulation. I don't understand why.

It’s changed already Andrew the good old days you keep harping on about are gone. I don’t think you can blame the NBTA for that. All the you tube vlogs telling everyone how wonderful it is and how cheap are more to blame in my opinion. So anyway what’s so bad about a group organising a social gathering for its members.
