I see the tories sent a slightly brown Tory to sign the new deal in Rwanda. It wouldn’t have been good optics to have a upper class white signing a deal to send brown people to Africa. A bit too much like a 180 degree inversion of slavery. If the tories had tried hard enough, I’m sure they could have got a direct descendant of an original slave trader to go and sign the reverse deal. I mean there’s plenty of people who’s families profited from the slavery trade in the Tory party.

Did i read somewhere that part of the deal is we take some Rwandan refugees?
Presumably these would be politically active individuals who have a problem with their own government and are therefore not safe in their own country.
I'm not convinced at the wisdom of importing politically active people with a tendency to dislike the government to the extent that they get persecuted. Something not right there. Millions of other people seem to manage alright.
Seems like a dodgy plan. The logical outcome is they become politically active here and work against our government.
Not sure this is wise.

It is certainly true that if you want to be home secretary, and you are white, you have no chance.
It also seems to be true that the brown ones are the most racist.
Anyway the majority of migrants come to UK legitimately. "I am coming to UK to study sociology at Mr Brownman's College of Muslimism. I have several wives and numerous children, they all need to come with me". "OK no problem" says the UK Border Force.
Having travelled widely around the world, as far as I know the UK is STILL the only country that doesn't check who is leaving the country. We have no idea if all those students and their families actually returned home at the end of the course, or not.

I don't particularly care where they send them, just get rid.

Did i read somewhere that part of the deal is we take some Rwandan refugees? Not Rwandan refugees, people who have entered Rwanda and have been given refugee status, and also are the most vulnerable (read costly to look after, if you wish).

Oh right!
So do we ship them over there then ship them back again?

Possibly! Although apparently if we ship them over and they commit a crime in Rwanda they get shipped back!

I suppose James is Cleverly making a bit of money out of shrewd investments in this scheme.
I still think it is a bit dodgy to take people who have annoyed their own country enough to no longer be safe.
I suppose its just humanitarian law but there seems to be a problem. Someone could just deliberately become active and get on the radar of their own government just so they can come here.

Governments can cause the same problem just on a much larger scale. Idi Armin/Uganda effectively declaring all asian people persona non grata is a classic case.

James never misses an opportunity, combining anti migrant work with his trip to Rwanda. What a Hard working worker he is.

Maybe they should rename the garden of England by changing the vowel.
