At last, an honourable tory, Chris Skidmore, except he's no longer a Tory, resigning the whip, handing his seat to Sir Kier. Utterly appaled by the handing out of yet more oil contracts in the North sea by his venal "mates", what choice does he have. I'm sure there are many more who disagree, but they are probably being coralled by the whips who have info on their dodgy doings. A couple of others have already resigned over the issue.
Roll on November 10th when the squatter will be evicted.

You are joking aren’t you? He just knows they are going to get hammered at the next election, so will lose his seat any way. This is a way for him to distance himself from the party, trying to ensure he has a long term political career. I wouldn’t be surprised if he doesn’t stand at the election as an independent. They are all the same, out for themselves jim. I can’t believe you’ve got to the age you have without working this out for yourself.
