This is what not having a Boat can do to someone.
Its actually very serious. The clinicians are thinking of adding Severe Boat Deficit Disorder to the DSM-V as a recognised mental illness liable to promote negative health outcomes.
Some people can handle it but for others SBDD causes a descent into poor mental health and a thrashing around.
People are known to throw Boat related objects at walls and in one case a gentleman threw a propeller at a television set causing a house fire in which he then died due to smoke inhalation.
Another fatality occurred when a relatively young man who suffered SBDD at an early age kept a pair of bronze cleats as memories of a better time, and some rope.
One day he was attempting to create hitches and accidentally asphixiated himself. They found his skeletal remains some time later still tied to his beloved cleats.
This is what not having a Boat can do.
It is all horribly sad but never mind.

In the Post Office prosecutions scandal, there is absolutely no doubt whatsoever that the Post Office's corrupt management, and its bent lawyers, lied to and misled the Courts.
I wonder what it is that leaves Alice, and the mindless arsewipes that make up his tiny circle of mutually adoring friends, so stubbornly convinced that C&RT's corrupt management, and its bent lawyers wouldn't be capable of doing, or haven't done, exactly the same to the hundreds of boat owners who've then been unlawfully evicted from their boats, and their boats unlawfully seized and taken away from them ?

Are you having a contest with your pal, Convicted Thief and Child Sex Offender Tony Dunkley, . . to see which one of you can consistently spout more mindless crap than the other one ? I'd say there isn't much in it, . . you're both about as equally stupid, . . and you've both been practising for about the same length of time. FTFY. Stop playing with the troll, you'll get smelly fingers.

A four minute film if anyone is interested.
It does show if you skip forward, the current state with all the heavy timber removed.
Based on the last C&RT update, work is now focussed on building a roadway to put plant in, when the real work will start.

I'll try to get a photo some time.

I keep seeing videos of this and still don’t see why it takes so long to sort. We have given up on going this way for now. Will head north for a while and see where we end up.

Sorry, wasn't trying to wind you up, just showing the latest if anyone's interested.
Whether it's the right way, the fastest way or the cheapest way is sort of irrelevant really, because C&RT are doing it how they think best, and we're stuck with it.

Rog No worries and it’s not wound me up👍. Dunchurch pools have plenty of space later in the year. Will potter around for a month or 3 and hopefully make our way over there to black later in the summer. Boat isn’t in desperate need and we don’t really care where we go this year. You’re right about my thoughts on this being irrelevant. Ali tells me this often 😊
