Out of interest and if it is not a personal question.
Why are you so fixated by the bins?
I met a geyser once who had massive issues around coal fires and he had ranted at the moorings one day very badly about the coal burning and said we were all cunts.
I later went to the pub with him he apologised and told me that his dad was a coal man and he was transferred out of the family as a small child and that the coal situation was really bad and he liked Ketamine.
This was in the inner city slums. I sort of prefer Berkshire in a way.

Because this policy of taking away facilities is going to have a very negative impact on the natural environment around the waterways and a massive impact on the quality of life of a lot of boat dwellers. It’s good to focus your energies on one issue, that way they don’t get dissipated.

Of course this could be a way of asking a question about what people should be doing with their rubbish and this could potentially bring itinerants into the subject but overall its likely nothing much will happen. If the natural environment gets clogged up with plastic waste then maybe this could help inform policies and ask who exactly is it that is getting into the Times Rich List purely by dint of owning companies who produce disposable packaging. A lot of this is related to shelf life, large scale distribution and people buying their shit in supermarkets. Its all fucked isn't it.

Yes. The policy of taking away bins and elsan points is going to lead to friction between boat dwellers and local residents. It’s a deliberate act by crt. It’s disgusting for a “charity,” that portrays itself as “environmentally friendly,” to introduce a policy that is directly going to lead to more waste getting dumped in the waterways. It shows how hypocritical crts management are.

If you refer back to the original thread on this, this action is what I said had probably happenned. Until there is joined up thinking about waste disposal in the country generally, we shall have this 'ping pong' name blaming continuing and the fly tippers will flourish.

also why does all this disposable non biodegradable shit exist in the first place?
Its all wrong.
One of the sad side effects of electric cars and the potential reduction in demand for refined oil products is that there will be more and more plastics.
There is no way to sort this shit out other than serve people with a massive hammer blow in terms of 'quality of life".
Or wait for the AI to deal with it.

The story is gaining traction. It’s such a posh area I’m sure the bins will be reinstated.
