I did consider bittern in reeds, but it looks too tall so I'd say heron.

I had a go trying to guess the bird in a sculpture competition once but I got it badly wrong.

These things are, in their way, cool. On a general basis we need more street art and we need to encourage more people to create it because art is beneficial to the artist as well as the audience and blah blah blah. But the symbolism is rather crude; that it relies on rather obvious symbolism is in itself plodding; the execution not a world away from illustrations you might find in a children's book. But then again, it's not in an art gallery in Mayfair and the artist didn't study for years at the Sorbonne. And it's not vandalism, although it has subsequently been vandalised.
