South Kensington is grim. I was walking around there once carrying a baby while the woman was visiting the French embassy. Car spotting but all of the tossers living there seem hyper suspicious.
Shithole.
I suppose they are all crims wondering if someone is going to come and kill them.

Yes I think so.
Maybe they thought this bloke walking around with a baby in a carrier was going to nick their watch.
People often give me a curious look. I think I resemble someone. I was once told I was the double of a famous really bad criminal who had been released but not sure who it was !

Newton Heath, as Mr Stabby will concur, I'm sure.

Been to Plas Menai, the sailing a few times. Really fun! Took my daughter with me a few years ago, she saw a different side to her mother who would rather give birth than go on a rollercoaster but will tip a catamaran onto one hull without turning a hair 🤣

Newton Heath, as Mr Stabby will concur, I'm sure. The thing about Newton Heath, other similar bit of Manchester and doubtless other cities too: While the people might typically be overweight, sport multiple tattoos, rarely be seen without a dangerous dog in tow and look to rob anyone they can at any opportunity (thats just the women): There's always a certain spirit about these places. Folk are trying to get on in life. OK, robbing someone, beating them up etc. etc. isn't everyone's idea of 'getting on' but still... The most remarkable thing about PENYGROES was that the folk seem to have given up on life. There's an emptyness, a quiet acceptance that the drudgery of today and tomorrow will be the same drudgery of yesterday.
