Visited today ... a twenty minute walk from the canal. £15 each for adults (£12 for oldies) but it is a years entry. Really enjoyed our visit and will go again as we travel north. A very eclectic mix of stuff from farming equipment, social history, communications and transport. Great fun and something really for everyone, whatever your personal interests. The boat was built by Edward Hayes at Stony Stratford. What a strange location for a succesful boat builder. Apparently the boat was taken by cart down Stony Stratford High Street and launched in the canal, although it did its work on the Thames mostly. Rog
