It's such a shame that it has become so quiet here and that folks seem reluctant to post.
At just the time one sits for a bit of peace and maybe a spot of idle banter (morning coffee or evening night cap) and the place is a ghost town ... tumble weed blowing down the main street.
It's good to remember that it hasn't always been that way, and if we are prepared to post maybe others will be also.
Anyway ... been a surprisingly pleasant and largely dry day (in spite of the forecast) and we've enjoyed it.
Hope everyone's had a good day.

It is a shame, but itβll bounce back. Just seems that we have a couple of troubled souls amongst us right now. Hopefully they will sort themselves out.
I have had a good day. Messed around with my toy car, off to Scotland with car club Friday for a few days. Then next week we head off to Dunchurch marina, if Easenhall has opened. Boat booked to come out end of month, but might try and bring this forward if they can fit us in. Then a couple of meets with bike and car stuff before heading towards Gloucester docks.. maybe if things are open. Plans are messy right now but itβs all good..worse things happen at sea, someone once said.

I'd post more about my travels but often feel reluctant to share because...
Anyway, I am happy to report that Bosley locks are still a pain for singlehanders, the pound between 9 and 10 was almost empty early yesterday but the volly lockies were great and the views are worth all the effort.
Oh - and it's pretty quiet on the Macc with very few boats moving...

Rog If you think the Thunderboat's quiet, try a comparison with the Chloroforum. One rather obvious common factor is the presence of, and the contributions from, a few mindless vapouring old women on both forums, . . although the two or three of them who openly admit to being female are nothing like as boring and off-putting as the main culprits, or the mind numbing claptrap they consistently post.

I believe the Marple flight is still closed metanoia ... perhaps that is reducing the number of visitors to the Macclesfield ? Down at MK there are loads of boats, but you encounter very few moving boats. So far the time restricted moorings have been free with the bulk of the boats seeking 14 day moorings, which seems to suit everyone. Rog

People might post more if the odd poster didn't chip in with 'the forum isn't interested in that' type of responses.
