We went to a pretty good display at Black Heath/Greenwich on Saturday night (free) and last night we went to an even better one in Victoria park in Bow (also free). It was an incredible display - organised by Tower Hamlets mayor. We've (I am a T.Hamlets council tax payer) recently managed to get the corrupt former mayor Lutfur Rahman removed and the current mayor is now John Biggs (Labour) so things are looking up at least a bit ! It was a very very high quality pyrotechnics show

There is always a big display in Slough at Upton park which seems to get good reviews...I've never been, we can hear the bangs clearly enough in Iver

We usually head north to my brothers place at Bedale for the weekend. Country pub weekend, visit family and fireworks. All good stuff.
Bedale display is free, but financed each year on the collection taken. Great display, and against a black night sky (limited light pollution up there) it attracts a huge crowd from the area.
Had to miss this year due to work. Ah well !

Bit extreme for keeping warm.
Hasn't anyone down there heard of gloves?
Looks a good night.

'Er indoors & myself, went to the annual Ottery St Mary tar barrel festival. Click Me Great pictures. Up until around the eary 2000's, I regularly used to visit the Ottermill Switchgear factory in Ottery St Mary, to witness factory tests of their electrical switchboards. Unfortunately I never visited on November the 5th, or I might of known about the target barrel festival sooner! π

I've been to the CRT firework display at the Anderton Boat Lift for the last two years and it has been pretty spectacular.
When i was growing up in Sussex we always went to Lewes on Bonfire night. Here it is more about the bonfires than fireworks.
