I don't recognise honorifics.
(Thanks for the new word by the way I had never heard of that despite my grandfather being given a CBE for bomb disposal work in ww2)

BTW, you don’t need to be an official to educate people but it helps if you aren’t a twat about it by targeting innocent/well meaning people because of some personal inferiority complex. Noted In case of any misunderstanding, I’ll just say one word...’Thrupp’...(as in near Oxford, not Cosgrove..although Cosgrove have suffered a similar issue in the past ironically).

you dont teach kids to drop little, they do it naturally, unless you teach them not to.. Worse ones for me are the teens in cars that go maccy d's and then drop the little half a mile away down a country lane, would love to take a shit in the paper brown bag and throw it back into the offenders car, on fire... A lot of that would stop if fast-food restaurants with drive-throughs printed the car registration number on all the packaging. Still trying to think why this might not work...most of this kind of packaging is probably chucked out straight after eating the stuff in it, so a good idea. I guess it still comes back to evidence. An official still needs to see it get chucked out by the individual who can be uniquely identified. :-(

I hate littering. However the real culprits are the people who make millions from manufacturing useless packaging. All dressed up as improving the efficiency of food storage (probably true) and transport logistics (probably true). Its a massive industry making shed loads of money. It is sad when people throw litter about. Unfortunately I currently live I east London (wogland) and the littering problem is horrific. The other day I was innocently walking back from the beer shop and this cunt in a shiny black bmw threw a bottle of water out his window it almost hit me. It was full of water (or piss maybe). Yes he was a Bengali but that's not the point. Its a rapidly increasing problem which profiteers are happy to jump on. As they say in weather forecasts "it will get worse before it gets better" You don't do FB, or are you looking at it now ?
As your talking about littering because of "manufacturing useless packaging" wasn't the case here, there were bags full of clothing and fabrics.
It's absolutely disgusting and I don't understand that even with all the video to proof, nothing has been done.
Peter.

Sorry I didn't see the film I just dragged the topic off into littering. And no I don't ever view anything on facebook other than some thames tugs pictures a year or so ago. Must stay on topic. Why do people throw clothes away? Maybe someone is manufacturing useless clothes which is an order of magnitude more serious than a bit of plastic waste. Earlier on I did get an image of the beginnibg of a film which appeared to show someone going through bins. That's why I did the litter rant If this is a topic about someone attempting to find clothes in someone else's bin then all I can say is it is shocking and they should get on a bus and find their way to the nearest Hugo Boss or Gucci outlet !

Who says nothing has been done about it? As I understand it multiple agencies have been involved in trying to stop it happening again.

The guy who took the video apparently tried to do something about it. Unfortunatly the police are too busy to witness this kind of thing. It’s the same with other forms of ‘minor’ crime. Also there aren’t enough police and they don’t get paid enough. Bring back the Bobby on the street I say...
