With a printer. Actually there is the weak link. Have you ever been able to get a printer to work when you need it?

With a printer. It would have to be quite a technical printer to get the reg number onto the bag, the Styrofoam, the chip holder (a curved surface) the cup (don't forget it's round not flat) and the chips ! I feel a POS rubber stamp solution may be more effective.

I have to seek out local charity shops for local people when out boating if I want good deals. Its do-able.

You don't do FB, or are you looking at it now ?
As your talking about littering because of "manufacturing useless packaging" wasn't the case here, there were bags full of clothing and fabrics.
It's absolutely disgusting and I don't understand that even with all the video to proof, nothing has been done.
Peter.
Sorry I didn't see the film I just dragged the topic off into littering. And no I don't ever view anything on facebook other than some thames tugs pictures a year or so ago. Must stay on topic. Why do people throw clothes away? Maybe someone is manufacturing useless clothes which is an order of magnitude more serious than a bit of plastic waste. Earlier on I did get an image of the beginnibg of a film which appeared to show someone going through bins. That's why I did the litter rant If this is a topic about someone attempting to find clothes in someone else's bin then all I can say is it is shocking and they should get on a bus and find their way to the nearest Hugo Boss or Gucci outlet ! This person arrived with several bags full of clothes and fabrics that were emptied out off the bages into the canal, supposedly something done regulary by the same person.
Peter.

Who says nothing has been done about it? As I understand it multiple agencies have been involved in trying to stop it happening again. These "multiple agencies" don't seem to have been quite successful then upto now.

If people have enough spare clothes to dump its the same sort of problem (but more serious) as packaging. I see I was correct that it is a littering problem the blame for which lies further up the supply chain IMO.

... or we could drop it around yours seeing as you seem to feel a duty of care regarding rubbish... ;-) It is a curious fact that Maffi and Magnetman share a common origin (Ma).

The guy who took the video apparently tried to do something about it. Unfortunatly the police are too busy to witness this kind of thing. It’s the same with other forms of ‘minor’ crime. Also there aren’t enough police and they don’t get paid enough. Bring back the Bobby on the street I say... That would surely be a good thing, if ever that could be done.
In my memory of my first few visits to the UK a good 50 years ago, I remember how polite and helpful the Bobbies always were, and they were everywhere.
I have the impression that lot's of thing have drastically changed in the UK police force , and I'm sad to say that I don't think it changed for the better.
Peter.

Why they didn't make her pay for what she did isn't very good, as only if people are forced to pay (in relation to their income) they'll understand.
The often given slap on the wrist is quickly forgotten.

my only understanding is that she had mental issues and got the required treatment instead. sometimes and I'm not really a fan that prosecuting isent really the answer as I suspect it would not of stopped her.
