Occasional friend ? you require the savage brow to be soothed like the rest of us,doesn't make you any less of a man in the Forums eyes. You care that much that you were on looking for advice regarding where to take her for a date, National Train Museum wasn't it ? You shouldn't suppress that gentle side of your character it lessens you when you do that.

All said and done I believe its the wrong climate to be in Cliff Richards position, South Yorkshire Police could come out of this very badly,if the CPS don't prosecute, after them taking two years to get this far

All said and done I believe its the wrong climate to be in Cliff Richards position, Looking on social media, there seem to be no end of people already convinced of his guilt, despite there having been no actual evidence put into the public domain, as far as I'm aware. As least one commentator suggested that his supposed homosexuality was more than enough evidence that he was guilty of sex crimes. It is a bit worrying that such a person is just as likely to be called to sit on a jury as anybody else.

These things are the new witchcraft,I remember some years back a fellow boater worked as a DI in the Met, he recently retired after 30 years, a large part spent in Child Protection.Unpalatable as it was, his conversation was an eye opener, some of it subsequently proven later to be true.

If I was his age with his money, I would just find somewhere nice to live, that didnt have an extradition treaty with the UK/EU and stick 2 fingers up at us You mean like his Barbados mansion where there is no extradition treaty? Exactly how old is he? mid 70s why bother coming back here when you can live there

Well only him will know if he is guilty or innocent, but what a prospect at 76 years of age. Does Barbados have extradition,I thought its part of the commonwealth? Mute point really as extradition won't come into it.

I imagine it is slightly to the north of South Korea. Seriously, good question and some further digging confirms that there is no extradition treaty between NK and the UK, as might be expected. Perhaps that's because it's all but impossible to get into NK in the first place?
