Talking of the L&L I've been on my deathbed with flu and have managed to see plenty of good stuff on the iPlayer www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p01rwfkmThere's a fair bit of good stuff that Nairn has done, including a dig at the NDC for starting the rot in Northampton in '72

...and you put your point across with elegance and passion! There ia a fine line between a judgment and an observation...

It's cringeworthy, I wonder if he's seen much of David Brent?

...and you put your point across with elegance and passion! Thing is Nick, if you support your argument and try to get people on the defensive with ridiculous insinuations, then when you realise you've lost it, try and cover up losing face by saying something that's likely to offend people, that's hardly going to win you much respect, is it? Bit like Trump, the latest furore means no one is talking about the alleged golden shower videos, but his actions aren't earning much respect from the majority, are they?

Our lives Nick - as in everyone, you know, society... Remember, pensioners need health care professionals, shop workers, factory workers, farmers, utility providers and much as it pains me to say it civi servants and politicians for society to function. As I said, it's a pretty bleak and one dimensional not to mention selfish outlook you have. Yes we do need children. But we don't need hordes of them to swell the planet's population further, we just need enough to maintain the status quo. Unfortunately, the entire capitalist system, particularly post industrial revolution, depends on a constant increase in population. I can't see it being indefinitely sustainable, but I imagine Mother Nature will find her own way of dealing with it when she becomes sufficiently pissed off about our abuse of her planet ![http://www.susps.org/images/worldpopgr.gif](http://www.susps.org/images/worldpopgr.gif)

For the record id just like to point out, there is no rule on this forum about not playing the man. I think you all might be confusing thunderboat with another forum. Nick has been rude, insulting and condescending towards myself on numerous occasions on this and the other forum. So I have no qualms over telling him what I think of him. If you have a problem with that don't read the thread. I don't have any children and don't want any. But I don't bear a grudge against people who do have them. The same as I don't hold a grudge against people who live on boats, even if they have the cheek to expect to do this on the western K&A or even London. Nor do I buy into Crt's propaganda about overstaying being the huge problem that some people try to make it out to be. I'm also aware of the way crt persecute people with a valid reason for overstaying. I think that crt have to obey the statutes the same as boaters and I reserve the right to call anybody who says otherwise a fuckwit. People like Nick that think the ends justify the means as far as crt are concerned can fuck off as far as I'm concerned. They are part of the problem not the solution and have no concern about the fear and anxiety crt's illegal actions have on the lives of numerous people. Playing the Man is poor debating. Nick does seem to have lost the plot on this one.

I added this ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png) to try to say that whilst I disagreed I wasn't trying to totally dismiss your view. Forums can be hard to show all the meaning behind the post. Sometimes I get it wrong sometimes others do. If I get to the point of blocking your posts then that would be the time for me to leave the forum.
