Your poll has an obvious agenda.

I pay my licence dues, and moorings, AND I'm a friend of C&RT making monthly additional donations, because the waterways are my home for 9 months of every year.
I have never had a complaint about bank staff.
But their recording systems are an embarrassment, and how anyone can defend a system that sends 'MOVE ON' e mails to someone who's paid a mooring fee I'll never know.
I'm tired of being told "It doesn't matter, just an e mail to sort it out".
When are C&RT going to pay as much attention as we as PAYING customers do. Surely it's not a lot to ask?

IF CRT are using letters such as these wholesale and expecting and relying on fully compliant boaters to refute 'allegations' of infringements then that is clearly both a nonsense and unnecessary nuisance and needs addressing, or is it a few perfectly innocent mistakes/spot checks being highlighted?

i have had an email saying i overstayed when i didn't a simple phone call to the EO sorted it out, now if CRT used their SAP system as it was meant to be then it would flag up genuine overstayers without much imput from busy body fingers sending out emails that are not necessary, sending an overstay notice to a working boat that works around the system is totally unacceptable, even mrsmelly across the road got an overstay notice after being there only 4hrs and spending the winter in a marina as i have said many times and by email to parry THE SYSTEM IS NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE.

I would think its more important that a licence application or renewal is only being offered on the illegal pre condition that you agree to their own arbitrary terms and conditions before the issue of a statutory licence.
The only conditions for a statutory licence are statutory ones. The licence process is fundamentally illegal.
