I've never seen anyone claim that having a passport means that the holder respects the values or people of the country. Over the years there have been a number of similar attacks carried out by various people. None of these people have been called 'John Smith' or another common English name. Come to think of it, each and every one of them has had a central/ south Asian or north African name. Also brownish skin. Also a beard. And they have all been Muslims.
What can we deduce? Well, people with brownish skin, beards, and follow Islam, are disproportionately likely to suffer from mental problems so serious, that they could go out and commit mass murder.
This being the case, perhaps the NHS should have a rethink. Particularly, as there appears to be a public clamour for more spending on mental health issues. Rather than concentrating on survival rates for cancer they could instead divert these funds to a large new pot. Let's call it: Scheme for the prevention of mental disorder related mass murders. Hell, they could even delay hip and knee replacement further, let's say 5 years waiting, even more funds for mental issues.
The beauty of this scheme is that it could replace the hated PREVENT scheme. Hated because it's racist in that it concentrates all its efforts on the only group of people that are likely to carry out such crimes.

Tony Blair is a deluded individual with an ego to match. Perhaps the latter led to the former. He made a terrible decision that led to the death of hundreds of thousands of people. It's important to note though, that he didn't intend that his decision would bring this result.
I detest Blair, I think it would be reasonable for him to be tried in a court of law for his mistakes. Being the leader of a country carries this responsibility, it would be reasonable. To suggest he's a terrorist is going too far though, this crime requires intent.

I think you are right about the intent thing Ricco but those in power ovwr the ages must have known if their decisions would be responsible for many deaths. Is it only those who have been brainwashed or ordered to kill who should be held responsible for 'terrorism'? As I've said before, ultimately you could argue we are all partially responsible as we vote in our leaders and pay taxes which can be misused on arming certain countries. As much as these attacks are aweful, I find it very curious that the media make such a huge thing abiut it compared with the millions of people who are allowed to starve each year. 3 million children, surely that's worse. It's a very strange world isn't it? |

starving children are unfortunately the result of the human race over-reaching its potential in certain parts of the world.
there is a blame there - the religions that encourage rampant breeding and the international organisations who spout hot air and send funds that are misdirected by corruption.
