I am struggling with it as well like Patty I just cant see any good coming out of their actions. Before long we will be come fortress UK if this continues, and as time goes on these people will be hunted down like dogs with the mob shouting for more blood with each death!! It sounds far fetched doesnt it? but in truth it wouldnt take many more of these bombings and murdering of innocents to achieve the above. Its so sad that Jaynes daughter in law now wont go to either London or Manchester because of these incidents. The musical I went to see yesterday in Manchester was sold out but lots of empty seats,so already our way of life is changing little by little. It wouldnt surprise me if UKIP does well in the GE because of these murders very strange times we live in. I was in London night of the incident but Kings Cross area..in fact i was fast asleep..Daughter in law who lives in London lay awake all night listening to the helicopters ..she told me in the morning how scary it'd been....I heard nothing at all. I'm not sure how the events of Saturday will impact on my roaming the streets on visits to the capital as not yet bin out there..we shall see whether the demon anxiety residing within awakens. Daughter and grand daughter now forbidden London by son in law so any family get togethers will be away from the capital.... I suppose qu is do we let these people take away our freedom of movement?..do we cower or go out there? These attacks can happen anywhere at any time and curtailing right to roam is self imposed choice...I have not yet decided.

Not like Martin to hold back, but there us always a first for everything. Sadly the attack last night just demonstrates the world we live un today and what is worse is that these mindless acts if violence are usually carried out in the name of religion ( of one sort or another ) Phil Thats the trouble, we should not put up with living in the world as it is and shut the bloody borders, get rid of all non white true British English people until its all sorted.........hey Trump has a good idea there. I have been told i am racist for saying things like that, and yes if that is wanting to protect our country form these scum bags animals, then i am a proud racist. Could you establish your baseline for all the white 'true British English' people'? Would that be those of us descended from the Romans, Saxons, Normans or Scandinavian invaders? If you're not pale skinned and a bit ginger, your not local so you'll probably need to throw yourself off the island too. PS. Richard the Lionheart was from Bordeaux.

If they could come back from the grave, they well might say who made them do it. That's always been the thIng about brainwashing young people into suicide missions. In that case, it would be in the interests of the police to take them alive then, wouldn't it? There are plenty ot terrorist who have been taken alive, one of the Glasgow airport bombers and Lee Rigby's killers come to mind.[be] Well for one, it depends on the commands given to the armed police dealing with the particular situation. What drivers (and politics) are involved in the big picture? It's also possible that a terrorist gets killed in the heat of the moment. It's not straight forward especially if you have someone next to you who appears to have a bomb canister attached to them. My point Is that the media always focus on the 'evil terrorist' but rarely focus on those who brainwashed them to do it. So tell me, who do you think is responsible for all this if you go to the top of the control pyramid? I think indirectly, we all are as we feed those who control us.

Each to their own but not going to Manchester or London because of the incidents is giving the bad guys what they want, and I'm pleased to see that British perversity at it's best seems to prevail. Currently watching tens of thousands of folk enjoying themselves, plastic pint pots in hand, at Old Trafford - probably less than 5 miles from the scene of the bombing.

Not travelling to London nowadays because of the fear of terrorism displays a complete lack of understanding of the risk.
In London over 60 pedestrians are killed every year and a much larger number injured but nobody is afraid to walk in London.
This is more than have been killed in London by IRA terrorist action in over 30 years
to stop going into London because of the risk of being killed by terrorist action is frankly ................. daft

Here's another one Phil - why don't you just 'do one' and go and watch the Simpsons or something. Ha Ha Ha, reading your response says "I can't think of any reasonable reply" Phil I thought you were actually quite a reasonable bloke on CWDF but you appear to be turning into a bit of a tosser on here. Hey ho...

Me2 i have to say that, having previously found Robbie entertaining, I thought he was crap tonight. And now Coldplay are on, in a different league. And I have to say I've warmed to Ariana. Mind you, we are tied up in the perfect place overlooking Church Minshull. With several G&Ts.

We once saw them at Manchester Arena as it happens and the are great live. i concede I had never heard of Ariana before the attack but she sure can sing, and her fans clearly love her. Robbie was crap, agreed.

About a week ago, we were in London.
Visited Southwark cathedral, and the Shard, and ate street food in Borough market.
What a terrific place it is. Foods from all over the world. You can hear languages from every corner of the globe.
Having visited the location so recently, somehow increases the shock of the incident.
But I have no doubt normal life will resume speedily for those not directly involved, as it has and will at other such locations.

A predictable resonse from you, in fact I could have written it for you. The problem with it however is that it doesn't recognise the past tense regarding CWDF. Had you not been banned from there you would possibly have known I no longer post on there.
