As you seem to be unable to grasp the very clear posts answering your question. Try this "I want a divorce" ......... "Ok afterwards we will have to agree on a financial settlement and access rights" We are saying "fine .... start the process (article 50) let's now start discussing and try and come to a fair settlement" (basically normal behaviour) You are saying "Why can't you tell me what the settlement is going to be before we negotiate" WTF don't you understand, can't you see how ridiculous the second position is ? Wtf is wrong with asking what you wish to achieve through negotiation, not what the settlement will be. To much trust in Mrs weakanwobbly. See where she has got us today. In bed with INLA terrorists. (To use the rational thrown at Jeremy) If the people of NI vote for who they do clearly that is what they support, it would seem that the only terrorist org left in NI at the moment, is the Real IRA if the media is to be believed the rest just want peace.

I'm not dismissing what people say, I don't agree and I'm questioning it. The left are pulling together these days. 1922 committee to May, just now, "sack your advisers or we'll start leadership contest" Cats in a bag!

Things people from the DUP have said:
Abortion should be “ruled out for rape victims”
The Pope is the Anti-Christ
Gay couples “more likely to abuse children”
“Homosexuality is an abomination”
No gay marriage
“Gays more vile than child abusers”
Attempts to reduce CO2 emissions are “Green propaganda”
Claims that fossil fuels will run out are “nonsense”
“Man-made climate change is a con”
Creationism should be “taught in every school”
Removal of evolutionary teaching from the curriculum
The 60 million-year-old Giant’s Causeway is only 6,000 years old
Line dancing is “sinful”

Anyway, yes Teresa may has lost any power or credibility she might have had. The 10 DUP christian fundamentalists have more say now over the direction of brexit than any other 10 people In the UK. Scary thought really.

My understanding is that it is back bench MPs calling for the sacking (by the end of the weekend) not the 1922 committee (I could be wrong though). Back benchers meeting on Monday. 1922 Committee meeting on Tuesday Gut feeling - May will resign rather than sack her advisors - what happens if she doesn't sack them I'm not sure. Glad I'm not in her shoes....

So no real explanation beyond yourselves reiterating the squaukus may parrot shriek "Brexit means Brexit". The Tartan Trousered Parrot has shit on all our backs. It's just possible that it's this disdainful arrogant "I know but I'm not going to tell, trust me" that has led to this debacle. The Tories have led us into two unnessesary elections, trying to grasp more power and control, and then lost them both. Ffs. Utter incompetence. Little England is the butt of derision and laughter. I could go on but my morning brew is ready. As you seem to be unable to grasp the very clear posts answering your question. Try this "I want a divorce" ......... Thats made things clearer for me..but I guess in politics there is more mileage in making a fuss

The whole brexit issue should be run by a cross party committee in my view. It should not even be on an election manifesto. If May and the Tories had any decency they would be working with Labour to come up with a general way forward for the UK. How is working with DUP in the interest of our nation? Particularly with the larger majorites in England, Scotland and Wales. I think the backlash could end up adversely affecting the peace in NI so what May is doing is totally selfish. As I said, it just shows that our political system is unfit for purpose. One possible way out of this is to have another election where the two strongest parties are the only voting option just to decide who should take overall charge of the UK. This would prevent any possibility of a small minority having control over major policies. I think issues like education, defence, social care and heath are more important than issues like Scottish independence and Brexit. However with our current system these more important issues are being pushed to the back by wasted votes on less important issues. Scotland voted to stay on the UK. The SNP MP's should have backed down in the name of securing a better future for all of us. If they had have done we may not have ended up with this mess. As it happened with UKIP, they got wiped out anyway, however they should have also backed out after the decision was made to leave. It just goes to show that the egos of these people seem to be more important than those they are supposed to represent. So what's changed?

Perhaps Mrs May should have kept her advisors...

Whilst I do see the funny side of the Tories floundering, I can't help thinking that this deal with the ulster unionists is going to upset the good Friday agreement and jeopardise the peace in Ireland.

Back on the funny side.
Trump says I'm not coming if there are widespread protests.
Downing Street says State Visit going ahead as planned.
