Which is 120 more than he was aiming for... Might have been cheaper and easier not to have stood as a candidate and thrown £500 away then? Pretty cheap deal for the publicity he got from it. I believe all of this has been explained to you many times before but it doesn't sink in.

If you stand as a candidate in a General Election, then you aren't exactly "privacy-seeking", are you? It's interesting to note that while the UKIP candidate at Lichfield received 8,082 votes, our friend Sabcat received 120. I am not saying he is privacy seeking, I just think its poor form. What if it was a female poster who perhaps had a bad experience in a previous relationship, she should be able to feel safe on Thunderboat knowing that noone is going to dredge up a picture from her past in order to embarrass her or perhaps put her at risk

Comedy Gold! To be honest, I probably am a bit fat, but it's all comparative really. I'm certainly nowhere near as fat as this random photo of a fat, stupid person I found on the internet. To be honest, you and Sabcat are both better than this, and I know he started it. I don't always agree with you, but you know how to state your views in a clear, concise way and you can pretty much hold your own against anyone. Remember, the minute someone starts throwing out personal insults in a debate is the minute they have admitted defeat. Once you've won the debate, take your bows and walk away.

I actually don't know anything about Sabcat - although I did see his mug shot slapped up on Canalworld. He said 'so what?' as it's out there on the Internet anyway for the whole world to see (such as aborigines in Australia and sumo wrestlers in Japan) which I thought was fair of him. He looked OK to me in the photo - and not fat at all in the photo I saw.
The only thing I despise fat people for, those who are deliberately overweight because they shovel McDonalds hamburgers into their gullets non-stop and then claim they're only overweight because they have 'big bones', is that they are not charged extra for flying. I mean, if my luggage is 1kg over the limit I get done with extra payment and have to go back to check-in and stand in the queue so that I'm likely to also miss my flight - and will the luggage even make it? Then some lard-arse who weighs 40kg more than me comes and sits next to me squashing me up against the window, farting and burping and complaining about leg room - and they are not charged any extra for all the blubber they have brought on board. An extra 40kg uses a lot of kerosene. Not to mention all the beefburgers they've been guzzling which means stripping the Amazon rainforest of its trees so that more grazing fields can be made for cattle.
I notice Sabby never mentions boats so I do wonder if he has one. Then I could regard him as a fellow boater and not just as Rik from The Young Ones:

I've got a boat Foxy, a 62ft Colecraft, I like it a lot. My current favourite toy though is a VW T4 I've converted to a camper....I've just put pressed metal plates with a GB EU logo...they'll be retro soon, I hope And yeah, I don't worry about being doxxed, it's up to the forum management whether they want it to be acceptable here or not though. I enjoy winding up wankers on the internet and it's meaningless if you do it anonymously

How goes it with the T4? The astro is going well, the smev sink gas hob will be in soon so then its the wind out awning and the job is done for us. The Astros come with blends and curtains so its a lot easier than a full conversion

The Astros come with blends and curtains so its a lot easier than a full conversion It's going well, got it back from the paint shop on Thursday, screens been out to sort the rust there, wasn't as bad as I'd thought but it obviously wasn't going to get any better, it'd had a replacement screen at some point and when the original sealant had been taken out paint had been scraped off with it and it. All that's been ground back to metal and painted properly - I was expecting to have to have sections cut out and welding done so that was a pleasant surprise. All the little dents it had have been sorted and it's lucking shiny again. The interior's finished (used a smevhob/sink combo as well, 9222(?)). Need to get out camping in it more this summer. Post some pics of your Astro
