Stabby is obviously not a country boy, or well educated for that matter! en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Animal_husbandryIt was a poor example. Now if you had been talking about my lords ornamental deer roaming free in acres of parkland you may have had a bit more of a point. Look, here's the bottom line. It's illegal to catch fish from a British canal and not return them to the water. Now, if you are so thick that you can't understand this, then I don't see any point in wasting any more time on either you, or the equally dim-witted Delta9. Goodbye!

You mean to tell me the 38lbs of deer meat we've got in the freezer is illegal? We spied a the dear focused on her evening meal in a freshly mowed field; dug out the hunting bow and down she went. After hanging for the standard 21 days a butcher friend of ours cut her up for us. So far we've had a couple of lovely deer steak meals, can't wait to try the first roast from her. Back in Canada it's legal to hunt deer in season, I shot my first one just after I turned 19. OK, just kidding about shooting a dear over here, but the rest of the story is true. My first Christmas here I asked Dave to go to the hardware store (B&Q / Homebase) and pick up an axe, when he asked why I wanted an axe, I replied "well how else do you plan on chopping a tree down for us".....us forginers have a lot to learn, even when we speak the same language

Larkboy = a boy from the Lark en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/River_LarkI'm not defending them at all. Your accuracy on this thread has been really poor - worse than usual!

Stop sharpish, run back, drag beast back to van, foot down back home, gut, skin and butcher muntjac as required. ππ

www.dunhammasseybrewing.co.uk/beers.htmlI had not heard of this brewery but the pint I am downing now seems like nice beer. In a nice country pub a short walk from the canal. Girding our loins for the sprint through/past Manchester tomorrow. Interesting change from the narrow canals this Bridgewater thingy, wide and deep. Excitement mounts as the horizon fills with the silhouetted, brooding Pennines.

I don't think you understand the word 'species'. But I do understand the word "semantics". It's illegal to eat fish caught in canals and rivers in the UK and that's what Bogdan and Piotr need to understand if they want to live here. Why should my boat licence money be wasted getting this translated into ten different languages for the benefit of people who understand it anyway but prefer to play the "no speakada English" card? Strangely I play football with bogdan he's alright. Peter as we call him is married to my cousin. Small world ain't itππ£π£πͺπͺβ

Larkboy.
This is the contact you need Rob Boothby, Environment Agency, Operation Traverse, more signs going up to discourage illegal fishing without a licence and FISH THEFT.
2 minute slot on Tonight's Look East after the Ten PM news, they have been out catching the rays on Well Creek in a small dinghy. wonder if they have caught any law breaking Eastern Europeans as well as topping up their tan?
