I assume this is the same Mark Carney who six months ago stated in a news conference that interest rate rises would come into sharp relief ( bank speak for go up ) at the start of 2016 and then had to row back significantly from that position because they got it wrong, very wrong. Strange how all these so called experts are able to predict things so wrongly then conveniently forget about the fact they were so wrong a few months later. Just as all the great and the good who predicted disaster if we did not join the euro, Mandelson, Ashdown etc. For you then Carney has no credibility ? He has some, but is no means correct all the time. Legarde has less she has been wrong a lot, and also she is French and they have done very nicely out of the EU thank you. Sabcat sums up what I think is going to occur economically and for me anyway it is not about the short or even medium term economic consequences it is about whether we want to be an independent country free to make our own choices or a small part of a US of E where we are told what we can and cannot do. Having said that I don't think the EU will survive in the long term anyway and I would rather we got out now by controlled negotiations than wait until it implodes which will be far worse.

For me to many EU people are trying to tell us how bad we are going to do, I really do believe that they are scared that their very easy street lives are going to go down the pan if we leave. I am sure they will tell any amount of lies to scare us into keeping them in the Euros that they are used to

Cameron said that Brexit will bring war and Osborne said it will hit house prices...I imagine a war would have an impact on house prices especially war against a giant lizard from Japan

In answer to the question "why do people ignore Carney" based on polling a week on from his comments, they don't. 5 point lead for remain now.

What passes for a Politician nowadays is frankly unbelievable,I date the rot setting in from the start of New Labour. So many people I thought would be more vocal appear to be almost silent.George Galloway, where has he gone ?

I would like to see Michael Gove leading the campaign and the Tory Party for that matter.

Galloway is a waste of skin. As for Boris always remember what this referendum is about - the Tory Party - not the EU, not UKIP, not what the British people want, The Tory party and it's internal rivalries. It makes sense when you view it from that perspective.

I never believed anything else regarding Johnson,I agree with your analysis entirely.I wasn't suggesting Galloway as a messiah, I just believe the Brexit campaign could do with a figurehead that can talk and Galloway sprung to mind. You may not like him nor what he is saying but I don't think even you would dispute his command of his chosen topic

I think he'd be toxic to the campaign, in different ways to Boris but just as bad.

Yeah again your probably right. You surely must agree with me that the BREXIT campaign definitely could do with someone.the problem I guess is that Labour endorsing the In campaign deprived Brexit of a large swathe of support.Having said that,if Labour were supporting Brexit who would you pick to front the campaign. The problem is they are all political pygmies, absolutely bereft of both gravitas and talent.
