......its to make Radiohead sound good live..... I presume you are taking about anti-depressants? We used to do Paranoid Android before we became a three piece... ( absolutely true BTW)

I watched a bit of them last night on BBC2 and exactly the same thought occurred to me ........... how on earth is all that pandemonium and flashing lights supposed to be entertaining unless you are as high as a kite?

I guess you won't be suggesting Glastonbury as a day out for you and your pals at the nursing home then? Glasters has never been my scene, the thought of spending a weekend listing to someone else's favourite music in muddy field while making a Farmer rich doesn't appeal - Although it must make a good training ground for the next generation of caravaners and camper's. We did V festival for a day in Chelmsford way back in 2002, it was alright, Portishead, Beverly Knight, Counting Crows, Stereophonics - VIP tickets through my mate at Ducati which was nice too V Stage (C) Stereophonics (C) Primal Scream (C) Gomez (C) Starsailor (C) Counting Crows (C) Kosheen (C) Beverley Knight (C) The Raveonettes NME Stage (C) Basement Jaxx (C) Doves (C) SWR (C) Elbow (C) The Coral (C) The Donnas (C) Seafood (C) Stone Sour (C) Dave Gahan JJB Puma Arena (C) Groove Armada (live) (C) Soft Cell (C) Lamb (C) Royksopp (C) Sugababes (C) The Yards (C) Meam (C) Incredible String Band Strongbow Golden Dance Arena (C) David Holmes (C) Jimmy Cliff (C) Touche (C) The Basement (C) Portishead πΈπ·π€πΉπππππΆπ΅πΌπ§

Any clips of The Kingfisher Sinfonietta on Youtube? Attended their concert 2 weeks ago in Woodbridge. Outstanding. Two weeks already gone since then! Now we wend our way through the Land of Hot Pots and Witches.

I have never been to a music festival...closest I've got to a pop concert is when little sis took me to the 'Osmonds' to cheer me up(?)....ex took me to Cliff Richard and let slip his 'communication with my ex best friend'(said something I'd only ever told her and still penny didn't drop..I was such an idiot)..oh and when I nursed given tickets to see Sacha Distel...so I dunno really, don't think any of them really fit the description...have another 'Osmonds' ahead as sis wanted to go to one of their 'final' concerts. Dunno if I'd cope with all the noise and crowds now.

I think the best one I've seen was a toss up between Celine Dion at Birmingham and Micheal Buble at Newcastle. The worst was Coldplay at Wembley. Having seen them at Manchester and really enjoyed them we went to see them again, big mistake, the acoustics for some reason were shocking. Kylie was great too (also Manchester) but I can't recall seeing so many blokes in pink cowboy hats in one place at the same time.
