I was once invited onto a chap's boat in Leeds and was almost overwhelmed by the smell of shit, cardboard and horse shavings. Nice fella though. Now now vince, you've been so well behaved recently don't let your self down now.

Ah the BYOFS boat. Bring your own fly spray! And you don't encourage him. 😂😂😂😂 It's all in the best possible taste. Unlike composting loos.😂😂😂😂 I would actually be interested to hear how you have fared, how your tomatoes are doing on the remains etc. I think others would too. I know you will get teased rotten but there you go, we can't resist, though some are too nasty with it. Life's a composting loo and then you die. Could I propose a motion, we need you to start a Shit Thread ?

I can't bothered Jim, because of all the insults I get, I can fight my corner alright but it gets boring. So I'm sorry there will be no updates from me.

Excellent pics John. I had a mate who lost his rudder quadrant on a trip to Ostend in his Dunkirk Little Ship Mary Jane. He Brought her in steering with the engines. Got pissed with us in Ostend while he had a new quadrant made and delivered, then up the coast to Dunkirk for the annual celebrations.

That sound very exciting..probably tad to exciting for me.. possibly looks worse than it was ...... the only danger was being run down by something but as she was a commercial vessel she was fitted with AIS which meant all other commercial vessels new exactly where we were and who we were and we could tell the same. that meant that if someone was getting a bit close we could call them directly on the radio knowing who they were ...... and it would go directly to their radio and not a general call that has to be answered. Modern navigation and communication aids are brilliant. Great thing AIS ...... you can buy a simple receive only set quite cheap but one that transmits your position and name is Blxxdy expensive

Worst thing that happened to me was when we broke down and had to moor on the towpath for a year pending fitting a new spark plug. You wouldn't believe the grief we got. So unfair! Oh no, that was just a dream. You sir are a bastard..
