I've sent him an email. Vat on top? His yard isn't near canal so lorries and cranes on top plus fitting out. Top end of Β£10-15k for mine I bet. ouch! That's quite a lot of money. That's all in, lorries, cranes, fitting out, but yes it's made me look at Β£50k 57ft boats with large living areas. Move stove, partition, job done and all DIY with no delays.

There's another place renown for doing a great stretch job...Swanley Bridge... A 4 day cruise for us, went past it en route to Hurleston locks, that would be Β£2k transport costs off the bill! Dunno no what they charge for the work? www.swanleybridgemarina.com/

Kedian say Β£6395 including all crane and transport and blacking from front to back.
I assume craning and transport near his workshop/yard.
If I can't then keep the total under Β£10k I'd be pretty hopeless!

Certainly having looked at 57ft boats for sale that are either ugly hull shapes, badly fitted out, badly equipped or far too much money, it's looking like the way forward. Only fly in the ointment is he's booked up for 6 months, but that's a good sign too.

And a sensible chap not trying to build whole ones and keeping his jobs a manageable size. I haven't heard a bad word about him.
