No irony matey. Let's look at the facts, you built a fictional account and joined this forum. With your first half a dozen posts, you set out to antagonize another individual. Your a gutless streak of piss. Simples π The question is who is moe green? probaly someone who shares their distaste if this place on cwdf, but secretly wants to join in.

"Hey Kris! I've just bought a new pair of trainers! Would you like the box??" I laughed at that. it's still funny! sorry kris!! Hey Mr Fox. Do you still go touring? I read one of your diaries on crazyguyonabike(linked from cwdf) and thoroughly enjoyed it. This July, on the way from Gargrave to Malham Cove, between Winterburn and Airton. Both bikes are Dawes Galaxies. Both from Ebay.

You know what?People have had fun raising money for a good cause to help people & had it thrown in their faces.Gordon Benett,I do not feel offended if blokes dress up as women for a laugh/ raise money.I think it is offensive to them & their efforts.Ohhhh shame on me,I'm going to be chucked out of the sisterhoodπ£.Is this why rag weeks have disappeared,as most rugby lads did so love dressing up as barmaids ?

Is this why rag weeks have disappeared I think most women still have them until their mid-40s.

I did write a long reply but it disappeared, basicly.
I don't think she will back down. she has apologised incase of offence. even though no complaints were received.
she has stated that they have previously stated that this kind of fundraising must not happen so they cannot accept the money.
even though it was the league of friends that raised it.
I did quote her bit can't find it now.

I would suggest that a much better course of action would have been, to accept the funds on behalf of the many patients who would benefit from additional medical equipment, whilst making public concerns about the methods used in raising the funds.
To simply refuse the money is disgraceful, and puts the the national health trusts sensitivities and politics above that of the needs of their patients.

Rog she's a disgrace. if it was accepted how many people would of actually known how it was raised. now the whole country knows.

It's utterly crazy really, and I often wonder if there is some underlying reason that we are not privy to on some of these issues. I tried to provide a couple of finger prick machine's to my local hospitals anti coag clinic, as I hate bloody needles. The nurses were over the moon that I offered, but those from above stated that they could not accept them as they had nobody trained up to use them.
The actual machines would have saved the hospital thousands of pounds, yet they had no interest. It's crazy.

It is very risk averse. And probably very rightly so. Because the second somebody is harmed because somebody hasn't been trained on a piece of equipment you can bet your bottom dollar that person will sue the arse off the trust concerned.

It takes a special kind of viewpoint to come up with logic like that.
Sorry.

Don't talk stupid you idiot. Given the fact that it was an incoming technology that is now used widely across the nhs, they could have taken the machines in preparation. It's small minded jobsworth twats like you that screw the system up. People like yourself screwed the nhs, not governments.
