Thus showing once again you have no idea about how the NHS actually works. It is very risk averse. And probably very rightly so. Because the second somebody is harmed because somebody hasn't been trained on a piece of equipment you can bet your bottom dollar that person will sue the arse off the trust concerned. Don't talk stupid you idiot. Given the fact that it was an incoming technology that is now used widely across the nhs, they could have taken the machines in preparation. It's small minded jobsworth twats like you that screw the system up. People like yourself screwed the nhs, not governments. No Steve. I am neither talking stupid nor an idiot. I am explaining why your offer was probably rejected. The fact is the NHS as a whole is very risk averse for the reasons I have set out. If you don't accept this that is fine but perhaps you could hold off from the twats and the other associated insults. I haven't insulted you this evening so perhaps you could respond in kind?

It takes a special kind of viewpoint to come up with logic like that. Sorry. Rog No it comes with 35 years experience of working in the NHS. It is very risk averse.

Brainwashed. Institutionalised. Public sector pension grabbers. Human costs, unknown. Yes Steve, but that's not really addressing the point I raised. The fact is the NHS is risk averse and generous as your offer was it possibly came with a whole load of protocols and procrdures. I didn't personally create this culture, I just like thousands of others simply had to work within it. So perhaps you could stop personalisimg this and focus on why it is as it is.

Management don't like 'suggestions' or 'help' from below as it makes them look incompetent (they often are). They want all the glory for themselves. And they don't really give a fuck about doing anything positive as long as their salary drops into their bank account at the prescribed regular intervals.

Then I put £20 on Watford winning the Premiership. I'm a fucking hypercritie.

You are explaining your view on why the managers (not the NHS) think like that. The point I, and I believe others were trying to make is that it doesn't HAVE to be like that. Any management structure that puts it's own sensitivities above the needs of it's patients is wrong in my view. The reasons why they choose to defend their actions is irrelevant. Core business must be patients needs, not what managers are comfortable with. Rog
