Mum and dad used to hatch pheasants eggs off under chickens...most were destined for local woods for shooting...we kept 4 as pets...2 cocks and 2 hens...then of course come breeding season the 2 lads had an awful scrap and my fav pheasant beaten up and we had to release him....we kept the others several years in a large run in the garden. I used to love carrying the tiny chicks about.

maybe not as pets but if I had chickens running around I might be tempted to have a few pheasants only with the intention to eat.

Pheasants are evil I tell ye!
This is why - and it's a true story.
I was once being terrorised by a pheasant, every time I went outside the fecker would attack me, tried throwing bricks at it and scored a couple of direct hits. Eventually I thought it had got the hint, but no two days later it was back attacking my face.
I went to see a neighbour for some advice, after the obligatory piss taking neighbour said he would shoot it for me. I stayed inside to watch...
Big butch northerner turned up with shotgun - pheasant attacked - big butch northerner couldn't get a shot in without risking blowing his own face off so eventually retreated into the house.
Once I had managed to stop laughing... we eventually came up with a plan that resulted in the pheasant being very thoroughly obliterated!
The story is now part of local folklaw!
Gotta laugh!

Not funny because you did not elaborate as to how you dealt with the bird.
How did you deal with the bird?

I acted as a decoy to get the pheasant away from the neighbour and then hid in the shed, neighbour shot the fecker once it had given up trying to attack me and started going towards him. Two shots were fired, I was given the pleasure of firing the next two shots and picking up the feathers.

A pheasant is a bird. A cat is a mammal. There is a world of difference. pheasants can fly! Mind you cats can fly a fair distance, depends how hard you kick them.

Walking in a pile of dogshit isn't nice, everybody will agree, even worse if you're walking bare feet, but it's not as bad as stapping onto glass of broken bottles.

It can take up to twenty dumb animals to make a fur coat, but only one dumb animal to wear it. POLES TREAT FOXES BADLY: "This is sickening what are the European union doing about this too busy selling us straight cucumbers and advising us on how much money we have to pay to leave." "And as members of the EU we're forced to subsidise this to the tune of £10 billion a year - £180 billion to date. Despicable people run by a despicable organisation." www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4830640/Shocking-footage-reveals-suffering-foxes-fur-farms.html#comments Write to your MEP today! (and expect them to do absolutely fuck all about this).
