Calendars & postage/delivery free of charge, just a bit of fun for me. There is a catch though - they'll be in Finnish! I can't see that as a serious problem, there's still 7 days to each week here and the numbers look the same On holiday next week, will return to this when w

Good! Keep 'em coming! (I'm making notes) I would love 3 calendars but would need Millies picture to be in September if possible

My calendars drive daughter mad cos she has to keep changing the months as time drifts by without me noticing...this will give her a different one to keep 'just right'...she keeps threatening to make one with 12 identical pictures so that none are missed out.

Finally managed to get to my mail yesterday, and pick up my prize – many thanks, Ross, very generous, and an interesting mix of candies and tools [most of which [edit to amend this, sadly, to ALL of it] have been appropriated by ‘Gilgie’s proprietor for her own consumption, on some feminine legal technicality I have yet to unravel]. However I had cut off and stored the wrapping paper before she arrived on the scene, so I have saved for myself the addressed page of stamps and the postcard, as possibly the best souvenir of it all!

Thanks for that, Nigel! Fiskars make left-handed scissors too, but as 9/10 are right-handed I took the risk...
This brings up a suitable moment to mention the calendars resulting from the photo competition. I won't go into details of our delivery route publicly as the location of boaters is a matter of privacy, even though many here have an idea already as to who is where. The final count, for now, is 18 drop-offs and 10 to be posted. That makes 28 calendars + 2 extra for Johnv = 30. I will also order 2 extra as spares and the test calendar is good enough to be used, and I already know who to try and give those 3 spares to. So, all in all, 31 TBers should be getting a calendar.
I've already contacted many by PM and have a fairly good comprehension of the driving plan and timetable. The weather - heavy snowfall, for instance - could throw this all askew, of course. I'll contact everyone again a week or two before our delivery run, to zoom into the details. Those calendars to be posted will be sent as soon as they come from the printers, in the hope of avoiding the Christmas rush.
I based the recipients on post counts, and whether they participated in the photo competition. If you have been left out, don't take it personally.

Thanks again Fox for all your generosity and time spent organising and delivering the calendars, and the prizes for the competition. Very much appreciated. Just a thought for next years competition do you, (and everybody) think that it might be an idea to have anonymous entries? At least until the winners are chosen? I really liked Johns picture this year (Sabina) but felt a bit sad that he likely would not win as he won the very first one. Entries could be done anonymously by sending via. Pm. But some may be recognisable by boat name etc.?

But boat names wouldn't necessarily be included. The person dealing with entries might have a clue as to who sent them, but for everyone else viewing it would remain untold. I think that's a good idea, anonymously posted. We are, of course, assuming that Thunderboat is still around by next Sept/Oct. I mean, British Home Stores have vanished. 31 calendars ordered 10 minutes ago. Now back to work, into the raging snowstorm. Ooh - should take my camera to prove it That geezers(u know the sneaky pension pilferer...whats his face) not on here is he?..Oh woe is us..the end is nigh and maybe...with it our pensions...hold tight to the purse strings and be very afraid......
