Been watching a few videos about a subject that didn't make me happy, all these shameless abusers. I have nothing against people that due to some bad periods in their lives need temporary help. These people however don't want temporary help, they want-and manage to obtain sums of money that many hard working families can only dream of, and all that by doing nothing at all, and they're even proud of it. They are in an extreme minority. Claiming benefits is a huge pain in the arse and even if you succeed you end up with a shit amount to live on. Very few people do it by choice, and it would cost more to track them down and sort it out than we actually give them. Don't get worked up about it. It is an insignificant problem in a world with much more pressing issues.

If it's down to survival of the fittest, all rules are null and void. Scrounging, sponging and theft become fair game.

We can either pay a small amount to keep them sedated on cheap lager and sky tv, or we can spend a bit more than that tracking them all down and then removing their sedatives so that they get angry and start stealing from us.

You obviously live in a similar place to our MP’s...’ a place where none of the above currently exists inside your gated perimeter’ so what’s the problem??

There isn't a problem, or at least the problem is minimal. Trying to fix the problem would cost more and make matters worse.

How thick does somebody have to be to publicise they are taking the piss from the benefits system?
Do they not think staff from DWP look for stuff like this or some of the stuff that appears on Channel 5.
If they could apply the same level of ingenuity to actually getting a job they wouldn't need to.

Oh well... we will have to agree to differ, sure a couple of day / nights working in Collyhurst Manchester or Stonycroft Liverpool would go some way to changing your views.... Or indeed, having an 18 year old daughter who would be better off financially, knocking a few kids out to unknown fathers than seeing her apprenticeship thro in an attempt to better herself and society would mebbee change your mind!

I'd like to know who really funds this endless stream of benefit cheating documentary type progs.
This is social engineering at work IMO. These progs get to the heart of honest people who when push comes to shove sit in the cold rather than claim their rightful leg up due to the shame attached to benefits by these programs. IMO this is the whole point of their existence. Gov don't care who claims them, they just want the overall bill down and a few decent old people dying of hyperthermia in the dark (for it is the older generation who are too proud/ashamed to "scrounge") is acceptable collateral damage.

latest scam - register at a virtual college that provides exam results and certificates, and claim a student loan; for the scrotes that do this they will never earn enough to have to repay the loan.
............. probably the same college that many illegal immigrants register with.

That could be very true, when we were young there was no lack of work, if you wanted a job, you had a choice of what-and where. In these long gone days, people were ashamed if they were out of work, but nowadays (not for everybody that's unemployed) it almost seems an honour to get money for nothing, that is if you know how to milk the badly organized system. Peter EnregistrerI wonder. An honour? Or people putting a brave face on their fucked up worthless lives. Life is funny. Someone above commented that if the same effort was put into earning a crust as is put into claiming benefits then those putting in that effort wouldn't need benefits. The same goes for many Junkies who manage by hook or by crook to get substantial amounts of money every day for heroin, mostly (despite the many thieving fuckers) by wheeling and dealing albeit in illegal drugs - in another life, natural business people for our nation of shopkeepers. Our country is a bit tight and tied up socially. Many people sit about because they don't see that there is opportunity all around them. They have been brought up and educated to know their place and to stay in it. They believe that work is something someone higher up the pecking order organises and that it's not their fault if that doesn't happen. Same as junkies blame the heroin rather than their weak will. I doesn't seem to matter who's fault it is in either case as long as the finger can be pointed away from themselves if only with the barest justification. It's a mess. I don't think this country has ever encouraged the peasants to think for themselves (eg forced education) and this is the (currently benefit funded) result.

I have a friend who is a fairly lowly accountant. He does ok, young family, buying a house etc. He comes from a family where nobody has worked for generations. Not his siblings, parents, uncles and aunts or even his grandparents on both sides. They think he's posh because he's got a job! He thinks they are all worthless scum. He's the ugly fucker with the pretty wife, a house and a Mercedes though. The message surely must get through and their piss taking of his poshness stems from embarrassment at their own lack of will.
