I said that whilst in isolation it was a bit of fun (and it did make me laugh), in the context of the full gamut of what she is on the receiving end of, it wasn’t nice. Surely though, if it made you laugh and yet it wasn't nice, then by extension you aren't nice? What’s your point?

My point is that you complained that my post was both cruel and nasty, yet you admit to having laughed at it, so presumably you find cruel and nasty jibes funny. Don't they teach English language in proper schools?

Diane Abbott on Countdown. She was only 62 points away with 438. 438? I can get 437 50x8 10x3 +7 Or +2 for 439.

Well, 438 is 50-7=43x10+8. But the point is that Diane Abbott is so dyscalculic that she wouldn't be able to make 500 with a 50 and a 10 staring at her.

Sorry just caught up with the thread, Nick your a pompous ass sometimes . To compare what mr stabby said about Diana abbot to rascism is a complete overreaction. Anybody in the public eye should expect a certain amount of satryical scrutiny, which is not to be confused with rascism or death threats these are something else entirely. Can I respectfully suggest you read my signature. Yes he can be a pompous ass sometimes but in fact that is not what he did at all.

My ex was the same, scared to shit of numbers she'd look at that assuming it must be deviously difficult and miss the obvious. She only understood money as some and none and as "none" was more solid, did her best to get there.

TellyMackus did introduce Diane Abbott's skin colour into the thread when the post had nothing to do with skin colour, this is known as "playing the race card".

Yes he did mention her skin colour. This however does not make him guilty of what Kris suggested, he didn't accuse you or anybody else on here of being racist, or indeed compare your posts to racism.

No never heard of it. Not really! But that was aimed at good humour, not nastiness. There’s a subtle but important difference. stereotyping all white South Africans as dislikeable racists was nasty. And when a black government gets in, as in the case of South Africa and Zimbabwe, and starts the show by the genocide of the white farmers, and white people in general (such as South African Airways not employing whites anymore), countries like Sweden who were so vociferous against 'Apartheid and racism' are now strangely silent. Still, with Sweden now known as 'the rape capital of Europe' it looks like they're getting their come-uppance.

Stereotyping south Africans as racists may have been nasty but this spitting image song was funny I wish there was more of this kind of thing substituting the words south African for any other "nationality" or "religion" etc (is south Africa a really a country? Does not sound very african).

(is south Africa a really a country? Does not sound very african). Yes, South Africa is a country, it is dissimilar to most of the African continent in that much of the population is Caucasian but then north-western African countries such as Morocco and Tunisia have a very different ethnic make up to equatorial African countries too. Possibly white South Africans could be described as racist, in that they tended to avoid black townships at all costs and repeatedly advised me to do the same when I was there, although this could equally be viewed as practical and sensible advice from those "in the know".
