yeah well if u enjoy having a go...WITH A INSTRUMENT(for those with seedy minds)..doesnt matter what it sounds like...I really enjoyed uke....really enjoyed singing( ??)..and I don't care that the experts can do so much better...

Rog Well, I can't play a guitar for toffee but it's still a bit of fun strumming a few chords, even just things like polishing it and changing the strings from time to time is better than sitting around watching Eastenders. I wish I'd stuck at it when I was younger, but then you can't un-ring a bell. I do find myself slowly getting less clumsy at knocking out a tune as I practice it more, a very accomplished guitarist said to me recently "you should be in a band" and I said "I'm nowhere near good enough" and he said "Yes you are".

Been entertaining myself with a guitar since I was 14.
When I was younger I was, at various times, in groups and enjoyed the experience.
There's no doubt you progress much faster playing with others, practising and pushing yourself.
But I still spend hours alone, playing the guitar.
Like reading, it's provided a lifetime of entertainment and pleasure.
