Right. Following on from before after your fantastic advice. Andy I digested your email but alas, I've had no luck I've got the descaling thing on and out and around but I cannot get any oil through. Ive been defeated and I think before we go away in January we will get someone in to service it. So as we are sat on the boat with just a small electric fan on it means we will have to stay in the marina and be plugged in. Not the end of the world as we are going home tomorrw after Ross visit. Now we've had a little heat out of the radiators but e don' know how we did it. We have a cauliflower and get hot water at the taps. The pump we believe is behind the bubble stove and that' the green light under the stove, so that' on. Here is the layout Now the strange thing is we have this device. We have no idea what it does or how it works. Weather it's on or off or what it' connected to. We really need to work this out so we can stay on board in the warm. The imersian is on but no water water to radiators yet. The tap has hot water. Pretty stumped really.

That’s a programmable thermostat thing. I’d switch that on and see if it improves things. Instructions available on the internet.

If you disconnect the bottom of the valve on the right of the Bubble we see in the picture and turn it on do you get oil?
Immersion heater will be for hot water, not central heating. You may get little heat via the rads with the immersion on, but the immersion is designed to heat your calorfier.
From your diagram I can’t see any other heater bar your Bubble stove, but you have a thermostat programmer thingy so do you have a ebersplutter or similar as well plumbed in?

Can't see anything else. The vavle that is on the right. Pulls right out and nothing still comes through.
Problem with the thermostat is we have no idea how to program it. Even if we did. We've no idea what it controls.

I'm not that familiar but if the bubble stove is failing to light it could be that it has a 'toby valve' which has tripped. Looks like the purpose of the valve is to stop the oil level getting too high and overflowing. www.google.co.uk/search?q=reset+toby+valveEdit: Changed bit regarding purpose of valve. It would be very norty if there's no automatic cutoff if the water side overheats, the system should run vented in this case.

If you press the right hand button twice 030 will display then press the A button and it will commence 30 mins turn on (I have this controller on my Webasto) Bubble should have a thermal cutout valve on the diesel in line which cuts the supply if it's overheating...check that's open/ not tripped, you can trace it via following the wire out the back of the fire! Check diesel is in aux tank and taps open..finally suck diesel thro pipe where it enterstoby valve with a small elec pump to create a syphon.
the reset valve on the Toby is a flat lever with a hole on it you pull that up and it will latch on, there's a small 'trip' lever next to it, once you've latched the valve the trip lever will knock it off, you can test it by doing this....the reset valve must be latched for fuel to flow.

We've no idea what it controls. disconnect the pipe at the bottom of the valve and turn it on, if oil doesn’t come out then you have a up feed problem of the stove. If oil comes out then it’s a stove issue. And pulls right out???? It looks like a ball valve so you turn it - at the moment it’s turned off. look around the calorfier and engine area for something plumbed into the central heating pipes.

Is the thermostat controller there to pump hot water to a radiator which is not needed all the time?
Maybe it controls a rad valve and not a pump.
I don't really know what's happening there but I hope you sort it out and get the boat warm.
It's true that you don't get much hot water to radiators from a hot calorifier but you do get a little bit and if you are on mains electric then perhaps this thermostat controller could be intended to work as a frost stat of some sort ie designed to prevent any part of the boat going below 5'C when boat is unattended by switching on the electric immersion eater and circulation pump.
Just a thought.

On the Toby valve is a little lever sticking up in the event of the boat hitting something hard it clicks down you have to pull it back up again to make the valve work again I can talk you through this as this is my second bubble stove

Will go through posts on by one.
Piloted the pipe of the bottom of the Toby valve and fuel came out.
The two metal rods with black balls don't appear to do anything. Well things move but no clicks or anything. Going to poke around and move bits by hand.

Thanks guys. I've given up and am cooking dinner whilst watching one of the ice ages we have already been through the full set of Wallace and grommet.
We due to go away Feb half term so that puts a dead line on this.
Will cone up on my own and have a proper look at the Toby valve and filters and stuff.
I'll give the burner pot a proper clean, if that fails I'll get an expert in.
