C70 owners club? Do they cater for the more popular C50 and C90? After all, they were machines Honda mobilised the post war world with. I had a C50, it was brilliant. Used to belong to a "step through racers club" (all owned big bikes as well,) First Wednesday in every month used to race to Maldon in the evening .....couple of pints and a Chinese then race home. all in full leathers and boots, usually two up and generally nearly falling off the bikes from laughing too much. 50's and 70's were allowed but 90's were forbidden ....... only stepthroughs with magneto ignition allowed. Very fond memories of some great nights out back in the 70's they actually sell for silly money now, we used to chip in and buy one as a field bike in the summer holidays when I was younger. Basicly we used to ride then into the ground and throw them away. Shame really as I say they go for silly money now.

I think most of the Honda stepthroughs got run into the ground by wannabe London black cab drivers when doing "the knowledge".

lol I doubt it - the c70 remember, has 4 wheels and a convertibe roof (hence the "C") ... though I suppose all scooters could be classed as "open top" Original C70, note the absence of two extra wheels. Later C70, they certainly put some weight and size on, aimed at a slightly higher segment too.
