I know it's a bit of a dodgy subject but at some point someone on here will die or possibly be killed by some external factor such as terrierists (pit bull) or being stabbed by a random stranger in a woodland area.
Anyway how would the forum deal with this sort of thing?
Would there be mass outpouring of grief? People pretending to really like the deceased? PayPal donation link?
I have become aware of the fact that there are quite a lot of geriatrics on here so it is inevitable that at some point someone is going to stop breathing.

or being stabbed by a random stranger in a woodland area. And what if that stranger was one of our own. I think the celeb thread would be a nice touch. If any of our own fall I would certainly raise a glass and call them a Twat.

PaulG2 - has been discussed previously - unknown fate. Who else? Perhaps we could start a sweepstake? Who will snuffit first? Perhaps me in a ditch tomorrow! I may of dreamt it but I thought he was foubd alive and recuperating.

I'm going to bed now.
If I don't wake up in the morning you can safely assume I am dead.

How about a "wish list" one for C&RT top banana, Richard Parry ?
'Getting wiped out by a lycra-clad looney on a bike whilst handing out leaflets to ducks asking them to refrain from crapping in their designated towpath lanes, and advising them not to eat bread' - something along those lines should pretty well cover the likeliest eventualities for his welcome demise.

This one has been worthy of a Patty style ponder whilst I swept kitchen floor...inevitable necessity post aiming coal scuttle for Rayburn opening and missing....... I feel the amazing people on here are worth far more than a mention on the Celeb sniff it thread....at the very least ....a Eulogy worthy of Shakespeare himself....the only slight reservation I have is that we won't be here to read 'all about it'...so I propose....if anyone knows that their journey through the great wilderness of life is about to suddenly pass through the clouds or descend into a chasm full of fire and they want to know the fine things we would say......maybe give a 3 minute warning...errr...quite possible only Foxy would pick up 3 minute warning.....

how about I set up a crowd funding campaign and when I decide there is enough (not currently specified ) in my account I will snuffit and you can all share any of the proceeds that I have not expended on 'essential expenses'? .............. no need for a wake or celebration, you can all just go and spend, spend, spend.
