Which is what the pump out machine does once its working properly. Heavy duty diaphragm pump to remove material from the boats' tanks then a small holding tank with a large submersible macerator pump in there to discharge to the mains sewerage system. Its usually the diaphragm pump which suffers in the cold due to the flap valves going hard and letting air in. Once all wet it works wonders .

Are Ethiopians renowned for their powerful blowjobs? I suppose it depends how much food aid your offering.

Really?..might get there then if the workmen return and finish..Horror House threw a spanner in the works and they've gone for a think....they have promised to come back to-day...

Bloody hell that's scary. I don't really mind the native but the man in the suit makes me very nervous. I'll have to have a word with my former colleagues at MI6 and see if there are any plans to send him to the farm.

Weather update from Stretton-under-Fosse. Brilliant sunshine at the moment but very cold. My external temperature gauge says +0.3c, but I think it picks up a small amount of heat from the boat, my car dashboard says -1.0c which is the temperature weather.com is giving as the temperature in Brinklow. It's forecast to be -7c tonight and to remain at sub-zero temperatures until Saturday, with snow showers on Thursday and Friday. My current projected day for setting off is Sunday now.

Only about 1 to 2 inches here in TS12. What's the weather got to do with the length of your willy? Now come on, Martin was only telling us yesterday how he used to drive those nurses wild, and it can't have been his looks, intelligence or charm...

Being located in the south east I expected to get a bitch slapping from the weather, had more warnings on my phone than you can shake a stick at but...... .....A dusting was all we've had. It worried a lot of people, even the coalman phoned to ask if it was OK to come a day earlier just on case

Aldi is the supermarket on my way home from work. I called in this evening to pick up some chicken.... it was virtually bare!!!! I picked up the chicken (no veg, there wasn’t any) and a few other things (not bread, I didn’t need it and there wasn’t much anyway). Chatting with the girl on the checkout, she said that this morning it was busier than Christmas!1 The problem is that the sensible ones among us who know it isn’t going to snow enough to warrant panic buying end up with no food ‘cos the panicking buggers have ask the pies!!!! Which will of course to be surplus to requirements and end up in land fill instead of the local food bank.

Because I don't like the faff of having to go to the shops, I tend to be fairly well stocked. Although I normally buy the "extra for farmers" milk about every couple of weeks I get one of those Cravendale long date milks. Milk is about the only thing that I haven't found a really good dried substitute for. I try to always have a loaf or two of cut bread in the freezer but I always have in the "at sea stores" some of those part cooked baguettes and rolls. To be honest my "at sea" stores are quite extensive and I could probably survive quite happily for a couple of weeks or more on frozen/tinned/dried food. I think the beer and wine would probably dry up first ...... what a horrible thought ...... must put that on my next shopping list
