A lovely tree lined stretch of canal above Wood End lock on the Trent & Mersey.
I always enjoy it, usually busy with buzzards over head too and loads of birds.
Today, within a couple of hundred yards I counted six black bin bags which had clearly been thrown from a passing boat, into the offside undergrowth. Clearly domestic rubbish as could be seen where the bags have burst, or been attacked by wildlife.
Impossible to get into the side to get them due to the shallowness and tangle of tree roots.
There's skips at Fradley, less than a mile away.
I struggle to comprehend the mentality of people who would do such a thing.
People will always find a way to let you down.

That was me Rog. They contain dismembered body parts so I thought it best to dispose of them somewhere inaccessible.

I don't get it - there are enough bins. These are boaters who, when found, should have their CRT licences removed. Vermin.

So, it's OK to murder someone on private ground? And the Police can't come to solve the crime because it's on private ground? But seriously, boaters who do this - do they have CRT licences? Do they not care about the reputation of other boaters? (obviously not). What kind of scum are they?
