I wondered about an animal but the way she described it sounded a bit like human intervention. I imagine if it was the latter then it will turn up as a news story at some point.

Hope you're okay. To say that's all a bit unsettling is a serious understatement. Rog Begining to mellow..vino helps Not really able to rationalise what i saw..it'll be a little while before I venture back...Im just relieved i didn't venture over as per my original plan at 7am because the sheep with its heart out was probably to- day before I got there..if it was a sicko I could have been there..scary thought. trouble is that place meant a lot..it ticked the boxes...and I dunno now how safe I feel...guess earl;y days ..tomorrow another day and gonna finish sorting garden

Maybe its a "sign" that its time to sell the house and move, which is apparently your plan so it could just be a "karma" episode and all part of a bigger picture.

Is it in the local papers yet? If not, why not? How about on social networking sites? (Well, yes, it's on here, but I'm thinking more of the Swansea Lamb Lover's Association).

Daughter suggested local rag but I haven't..wanted to see what those who should respond would do....also Im not one to use media..if they contacted me it would be different...I guess I could see what local sites there are to warn people to keep alert So far....National Trust and RSPCA have both requested copies of all pictures..the latter tell me they are 'aware' of this farmer and going to see him..they also think possible poison particularly as most concentrated in one area... DEFRA waste of time ..told to tell them as ?avian flu..I'll never bother the likes of them again..on hold for 30 minutes RSPB told cos some of the birds were lapwing and apparently they are on endangered list...they r leaving to RSPCA...in summary Very little as none of the agencies going over the island except for perhaps National Trust Rangers... The only photographs these agencies have seen taken by me..wish Id taken a lot more now

The RSPCA should be able to take action against a farmer but then so should DEFRA.

You do know there are other papers than the daily mail mr fox? They all have the same News, just in a slightly different style. Why would I bore myself reading The Observer, The (non-)Independent and The Evening Standard? I do look at the Halifax Courier now and then.

So a farmer is poisoning birds then a fox comes along and takes the head off. That would be understandable but the other details described sound like a different thing happening.
