I have photos on my tablet gallery. How do I post one on here please? Rog You have to lodge the photo with some agency so it is visible on the internet, and then put a link to it on here. I use Imagur.

I use Imagur. In common, not posh parlance, the image needs to be hosted / stored in the cloud, using imgur, google etc. I use google photos cos all my pics end up there, but I have to use Direct Link Creator for Drive to get a viewable link. directlink.booogle.net/I open that, browse for the photo, click the relevant buttons and it gives me a url address to post into the image box on here. Foxy sometimes just gets the share link for his google photos, without using DLCD, thats why you only see a url link and not the actual pic on his post sometimes.

Thank you. I have posted photos before without using any agencies. Has something changed? Rog Yes. D9 stopped people posting pics directly as that uses up a lot of memory space for Thunderboat.

I have freed a lot of memory space on TB - 3340 posts deleted and lots of pictures/photos down the pan. Yes, imgur.com works well, dead simple. Choose size and then the 'direct link' code, insert into picture icon up top (third one to right, before clapboard symbol).

I haven't tried it but I think a while ago someone mentioned you can host a photo on cwdf (assuming you still have login access) and copy the link here. But I don't know if you have to create a post or if you can just do it with the gallery.

If Rog had a smartphone he could do as I do. I post via tapatalk when I want to include photos. As all they do is provide a front end for forums I don't see them pulling the plug and it's very easy.

That's interesting I always use a phone but never considered that installing tapatalk might have advantages .
